That's too funny...I had something totally different in mind for dinner and just a little while ago I said, you know, eggs sound good for dinner. So we are having breakfast for dinner too. Maybe not a casserole but still a type of breakfast.
When nothing else sounds good eggs always is great.
So glad to hear from you Toes. I watched the news clip. Your house is beautiful and huge by the way. I can see why minus the storms (bugs, heat)... that it would be like living in paradise.
Hope all goes OK during tonight. Please let us know in the a.m. how you are doing.

I know most dont read the political part of this board, but i'll share it here in this thread as well... in case it can be helpful info for some of you parents of adult kids (like myself).
As long as your kid is unmarried & under age 27 (school status no longer allowed to be a factor) you can continue to carry them on your job health insurance!! Even if they do not live with you!
I AM HAPPY!!!!! Both of my kids now have full coverage through my employer & it only cost me $35 more per month to re-add my daughter on medical, dental & vision. My son was still on it from before, but would have lost in come March (age 19), had this not come through, which was a huge concern for me with his asthma & all.
I told them both that if they get married before age 27, make sure they have insurance of their own first lol
Great news!
Mickey D's was good this morning - where were you all? ....I was buyin'!
Applebee's, McCormick & Schmick's and Golden Corral are offering free meals to veterans as well as active duty military personnel. Applebee's is offering a free entree to those with military I.D. from 11 a.m. to midnight at all 1,900 locations. McCormick & Schmick's, who has been doing their meal deal for 11 years running, is offering free meals at 87 locations in 25 states on Sunday, and also requires a military I.D. And lastly, Golden Corral's 485 restaurants are giving free buffet meals with drinks and dessert to current and former military on Monday the 16th from 5 to 9pm on what they're terming Military Appreciation Monday.

lol same here...when I first read it I thought I was messing up and posting in the wrong thread, instead of chit chat thought I made it over to the new topic Keith started. lol
Don't confused me when I have one eye closed and the other half open. lol and that is no joke. Again, I am almost asleep and still posting. What is with that?!
My favorite fast food breakfast is Hardees... let me know when you are buying breakfast there Keith & i'm there
With all the fast food places Kenosha has we don't have a Hardees. It is hard to believe we have to drive up to Racine to eat at one. They are actually pretty good too.

Closest Hardees here is in Delafield ~ Waukesha County. Used to have one in Jefferson County/Fort Area, but they closed.
Ditto! Good to see you here this morning Carol! Purple suede boots huh? Cool!
I have to run to the post office pretty soon since they are only open until 10:00.
I'm going to work on some genealogy stuff today...I might be applying to the DAR if I can find the ancestor my aunt joined under. Unfortunately I can't ask her since she died many years ago and the register goes by the ancestor name so I have to figure out who it may have been. The meeting is on Friday afternoon so I have to get busy searching.

We used to have a Hardees here but they closed up. We liked their chicken sandwiches and their roast beef ones. The closest Hardees to us now is 45 minutes away in Fennimore.
When we were first married, we always went to Hardees for supper before going grocery shopping on Friday nights. Now I won't take my husband grocery shopping with me at all. He likes to buy too much junk food plus he walks too slow and I've accidentally run into his heels with the cart a few times.
oooooooopsy! I lied, unintentionally though! Got up and went outside to start clean-up post-hurricane. What a mess.
And it's cold and cloudy and generally not a pleasent day today.....they said w would get SUNSHINE today! grrrrrr!
Anyone for lunch? I have some chili on the stove simmering, should be ready by then. (I make real chili by the way.....even grind my own dried peppers I grow in the summer, and I also add roasted fresh peppers to it as well)
NO NOODLES, just in case you Northerners do that up there, or is that just an OHIO thing?
Break out the tequila.....I have to get back out there and rake seaweed......blech! STINKY!

Glad you survived the hurricane Toes! But it sounds like you will be busy for awhile though.
Chili sure sounds good! I don't put "noodles" in my chili but I have to make macaroni for my husband to add to his bowl because "that's the way his mommy used to make it". I consider it to be "goulash" when you add any pasta to chili. My MIL always was kind of different though...and she still is.
