Ok, how come us little guys don't get editing powers after like 15 min? I've seen a number of my posts with a typo in and I can't go back to fix it. I guess I think it's weird that there's a time limit to edit a post. Most forums I've been on let you do it whenever.

Anyone up to anything fun and exciting this weekend?
I have practice Saturday morning (I play drums at my church and my wife sings), and then going to Comedy Sportz with a group of about 17 people. Sunday night is dinner at my in-laws. My mother-in-law is such a great cook - usually.
Tonight we are just hanging around the house. Saturday I'm going to a Tweetup. I'll see what happens there. I don't like Twitter, but just trying to connect with people, ya know? Then we will make our escape and head out to one of the bars to see a band hopefully.
Sunday, if it's nice out, we want to go to Warrens for the Cranfest and to drive the cranberry highway. It sounds like Cranfest is a pretty big event. Lots of arts and crafts, food, entertainment and so forth.

Cranfest sounds like fun! I love cranberries.
I imagine my 3 yr old would think it has something to do with crayons...
Not this weekend as I'm pretty well broke but hoping to take the kids to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in a few weeks to ride the train there and see the Christ of the Ozarks OR we may go to Branson, MO to ride the Ducks before it gets too cold.
Maybe next year we can get up to the Dells in Wisconsin!

I've been to Eureka Springs. Great gallery town with some nice little shops.
I've been on the ducks by Branson, but was disappointed because we spent most of the time on land. I didn't find it as exciting as I thought the trip would be. I think a boat ride would be a better choice.
Great...I had delete the part where I blamed Latina after she forgave me...but now it's there, and I'm in trouble again! lol
I'll give the details of my exciting adventures of shopping tomorrow. Good night everyone. I'm going home...and sleeping in my pajamas tonight...
Bad boy! *now... where's that whip i like to keep handy hmmm*

not a bad time really. We had dinner & watched a movie, then i went home early to bed while they hit the club.. it's ok though, we are suppose to hang out over the weekend, since i had to work early today.

I agree... Maybe we should ask Keith under the suggestion thread... All my other forums allow us to edit our own posts whenever we want, why limit us if you dont have to?

I wanna check out Comedy Sportz sometime!
No big plans here, i am on call for work the next week so i'll be close to home for the most part, though i told friends (from last night) that i'd hang out at some point this weekend.
will be in Delafield for a minute tonight, otherwise nuthing too fun.
It can fun depends on the crowd suggestions and who the team players are. Sometimes they can be amateur. I don't know if the Comedy Sportz is still in Madison, but went to it once and thought Milwaukee's was much better. There is a Midnight show on Saturday where they can use naughty words. Otherwise, the other shows are clean. Both are good for laughs either way.
Do you want to know how I got my free tickets last week? I signed up on Milwaukee Career Network and they sent me an email for free tickets just for signing up. You could always sign up, get your tickets and cancel the account when done. But, you didn't get that idea from me. They give you 2 weeks to use them.

One of the guys here in the office says they are no longer in Madison. Milwaukee isn't that far & i have friends there... I'll have to check it out!
Did they mail you the free tickets or did you print them off?
I'm told the tickets are only like $5 so i wont sign up now, but i could see the free tickets being helpful for a larger group. Just have everyone sign up & plan ahead, that would save big $$ if you consider $5 for each.

So what time will you pick me up?

I believe the tickets are $5 through this weekend. Not sure what they are after that.

I don't know the price of tickets, but I thought that $5 was a special price. Maybe they lowered it to get more people in.
I had to print off the email and get the tickets at the door. It was for only 2 tickets.
I see (website) that it's only $5 until tomorrow, but one of the guys here at work swears it's no more than a couple bucks savings... BUT i am on hold to find out now
Ok got my answer...
per person...
All Saturday afternoons: $7.50
All Thursday nights: $10
Friday night & Saturday night: $12
-------
I'd prefer a Saturday afternoon to any of the other times & it's only $7.50, not bad at all!
I enjoyed the whole "Duck" experience, EXCEPT when we went out on the lake.. I don't mind being in control of a boat or canoe, but boats on the open water pretty much terrify me. I spent most of the time looking at the fellow passengers seeing who I was about to drown with! I think the kids would like it tho.
Eureka Springs is a beautiful little town and have been there several times.. not much for the kids tho except the train ride. I thought about moving there a few times but have no idea where the locals drive to for groceries.. we've been all over there and have seen restaurants but nary a grocery store of any size. Eureka Springs is especially pretty at Christmastime.
