This type of thread almost reminds me of the thing we do on my graphic design forum every week. We always start it on Wed. and call it a "clink" since it's kind of like an online happy hour and a way to socialize. You can *clink* with whatever you want, soda, water, coffee, beer or mix drinks. It doesn't matter. Basically, it's for us to just talk about what we are doing on the upcoming weekend, what projects we are working on at home, or what is going on in our lives. Just about anything you want to talk about or joke about goes. It's a way for us to stay in touch with other members and take a break from the daily grind.

I started a thread such as this one almost 3 years ago in a forum & today it has over 43,000 posts, it's everyones first stop to say hello, general convo & what not.

Atlanata....NO GAS

Friend of mine wrote saying the city is pretty much shut down. She can get to work tomorrow, but needs gas ASAP or wont make it all week

I have a few friends in Atlanta, they haven't had gas in weeks & she is a school teacher. They had to close the school on Friday because so many teachers had no gas & the bus company was starting to run out as well... it's crazy!!

Enjoyed chat today, i fell asleep during chat though lol my son logged me out when he got home, so he could use my pc... sorry that i fell out before saying bye guys, but i did enjoy the chat.

It was sunny yesterday when my back started hurting, so who knows what did it. I didn't do any bending or lifting. Probably too much sitting on my butt by the computer.
