Oh Keith you are so lucky! I want remote start on my truck! I remember buying one several yrs back, just to find that my car wasn't compatible, when i took it to be installed i bet my truck is! I'm gonna have to look into that soon.
My sons high school has the day off of school today, because a note was found on school property (bomb threat) yesterday. Story
I bet it's some bad kids who wrote that note, wanting the day off & to watch it play out, at least i hope it's a hoax & whoever is behind it gets in a world of trouble... already told my son he best not be behind it lol he swears he isn't & i couldn't imagine him doing something like that, but had to reassure myself & him that legal troubles would be the least of his worries if he was involved lol

What a pain in the behind...they'll have to tack that day onto the end of the school year or something, won't they? Plus re-scheduling all the parent-teacher conferences. But, better safe than sorry. The admin at the school is put between a rock and a hard place when something like this happens. They can't close the school for every prank, and they can't keep it open in case it's the one time it's not a prank. Sheesh!

Johnson Creek High School kept having this happen the beginning of the school year. They canceled classes many times. I dont know if they ever caught who was doing the note writing
Got my feet wet on Sunday. Literally. I was washing dishes and all of a sudden I noticed that my feet were getting soaked. Water was running out of the sink into the cabinet below and out onto the floor. Called a plumber Monday and he just called to let me know he's on his way. And I'm still sitting here in my jammies!!! Best get moving....

Oh yuck! I had that happen over the summer. What a horrible mess I had.
The pipe "just fell off" it was there in place and I was washing dish's and then it was off and water was everywhere

Yeah they will tack it on as they do snow days, however my son will be done with classes come March, so he doesn't care lol
Sad that kids probably did this just to get out of school & will end up in big trouble due to it, but i rather that be the case than a real bomb
I have a beautiful pre-lit 7 foot tree that all the branches are hinged so it's so easy to set up. I got it on an after Christmas sale I think at 90 percent off sale or 75 percent at Hobby Lobby. Can't remember which but it was a great deal.
I also have a trio of different size north woods looking trees I hope to put in our enclosed front porch this year. But a purple one would be sooo cool. lol I love PURPLE!.

One time years back our school had to be closed (a custodian dropped something that let off fumes) just as the kids were arriving. It was one of the really frigid cold days in the winter which made it worse that we had to evacuate because we could not keep the children outside for long. They quickly called for buses to come back and pick the kids up so they had a place to keep warm while arrangements were made to bus the kids to another building. Once we made it to the other building we set up school there so they did not miss a day. A new adventure for the kids. lol I was truly amazed at how quickly the Principal/staff reacted to set everything in motion to move everyone.
