We sure had some rain last night. I like when it rains at night and the day is sunny. Great way to water the flowers/grass/tress and still have the day to do things without bad weather.
Anyways, Ken, what awesome ideas. First tho just to clarify, I am not actually affiliated with the cat rescue. Not sure if you knew that. I only help promote this fantastic rescue site by putting info about them on several sites. But still I will use your ideas to promote it at the sale. Maybe not every price tag since I'll have thousands of items I think. lol But also I will advertise my daughter's company and the fact that I sell online too. Thanks so much.
Well, busy day today. Hope everyone has a great day.

Me too! I didn't really hear the rain. I slept through it.
Tried to watch a movie last night, but my mind was on other things. I hate that!
I wonder if it rained here i didn't notice if it did & the window right behind my head was open all night.
Dave, i find forums much easier to navigate than facebook, myspace or the rest of the social sites... though i find them all pretty easy after all these years.
Having chili dogs for lunch & frito chili pie mmm... best part of the kids being home this week is all the yummy food i been making again, but as soon as they leave (Thursday) i'm on strike again lol
It might have rained by you, because when I got out of bed it was mostly dried up by then. Probably didn't last long and it all soaked it with it being dry. I'm just happy when I don't need to water flowers.
Today, later on that is, I'm going to check out this house that some guy is building by Farmington (Jefferson) that is a 4 story castle with 4 lookout towers.
I deleted my MySpace the other day, trimmed down my Facebook friends, and temporarily deleted my personal blog because I currently have two people stalking me online and what I do is none of their business..
I prefer forums to the social sites.. in fact, I'm going to start using them more often again tp promote my online activities here and elsewhere.. I think forums tend to be both more personal and effective in getting the word out.

Did I miss a comment somewhere? I don't find most of these places hard to navigate once you poke around for a while. Just need to learn the lay of the land. If not you can google your problem and usually find an answer if the help menu wasn't helpful, which is often the case.

Cuz mom always cooks the best haha. At least that's the way it is with me. Some of my favorite recipes are from my mom and it figures most of those are desserts. That's where I get my love for baking from. Can't beat homemade goodies.
Misty's pretty computer illiterate so dunno.. she's still not sure what it is I do or what a forum is! She does email and MySpace and that's about it.

I had asked about Misty joining theBubbler...
After having been a member & mod on forums & social sites for the past 10 yrs i can pretty much navigate anything... You are right,, anything you need to know these days, google can answer.

Almost all Mexican dishes i make come from my mom. the kids made a list of what they missed most & some how they think i will fit the last 4 meals in before they leave tomorrow lol
I had taken a half day off tomorrow for Dr. appts (my foot still), but decided today to take the full day & spend some time with my babies, who knows when i'll see them again!

My favorite recipes also came from my mom. One special meal I make when I'm feeling homesick or down in the dumps is meatloaf, baked cheese and mac and fresh green beans. For some reason it always brings back memories of growing up and all the great home made food my mom made.

I'm sure you are enjoying spending time with your kids while they are there visiting with you. Once they grow up, it's just not the same anymore.
I am already dreading next month when my son goes back to college. "sigh" We've spent more time doing things together this summer than previous ones though. Probably due to the fact that his best friend lives in Sauk City now and another one has been gone for two months backpacking across Europe. I don't know how I will react when he finally moves out permanently.
Hey it's already morning?? That just doesn't seem right. I only went to bed 4 hours ago. I feel like going back to sleep. lol
Well guess the clock doesn't lie and the fact that the sun is out (already?) so guess I will start my day....maybe a glass of OJ and a nice shower will wake me up.
Hope everyone has a great day.

I've already gotten my house cleaned, a paper done for the DNR, all of my bookkeeping and filing caught up, a report finished for the town, and talked to the highway commissioner about a missing speed limit sign. Now I am off to mow the lawn and then maybe start scraping my house so we can paint it soon.
I guess I should start getting up at 6:00 every day from now on! I get a lot more accomplished.
I'm up late today. Didn't roll out of bed until 9:00. I was up late and couldn't fall asleep. I ended up going to lay on the couch because I didn't want to bother hubby's beauty rest.
I had planned on doing an early (that would be 8 am for me) bike ride today, but it's so windy. I'll wait until later and do an evening ride.
We took a ride out last night to see the castle house by Farmington. I didn't have a camera, so no pictures. Maybe next time. I'm thinking fall will be better after the leaves are off the trees. Pretty soon those trees will all be so big and you won't see the castle from the road.
Anyone else having strange weather? It's only 53F degrees. The high for Friday will be a high of 56F, Friday night the low will be around 47F. Feels like Fall already.
I don't like the cold in summer. I want my summer back. This summer has been on the cool side except for the few days in June. I haven't run my A/C in a couple of weeks. I don't like the cool nights because our favorite time to sit on the deck is later on after supper. We will stay out until 10 or 11 at night depending on how early hubby gets up. It's nice and quiet after the sun goes down and no one else is outside. It's relaxing. Haven't stayed out much past dark this year.
There should be a law against having to wear pants is summer. I like wearing my shorts and being comfy.
Ken you can blame it on Canada. Just blow it back at them.
It was cooler than normal here today as well.. we're expecting thunderstorms tonight..

The mosquitoes have been bad this year by our house. They are the kind that come out any time of day and even when you stand in the sun. Usually we just get the ones that come out at night. I'm constantly slapping while I water flowers. It's so annoying listening to that huummmm. I need some hungry bats in my yard.
Good morning everyone! It looks like we are in for some rain here and the high is expected to only be about 63! Weird weather that's for sure.
I am heading out in a bit to drop off a van load of "left overs" from my yard sale and then on to Fennimore to take my mom out to lunch and do a little shopping at the local grocery store. They have the best ground round there and that's the only place I will buy it from so I stock up when ever I'm there.
