I like it at 70 degrees.. even 73 is too "hot" for me.. below 68 is too low.

Making an early night of it.. everyone have a good one!
I know I haven't posted for awhile, but figured I should seeing I am not going to be able to post again for awhile. I will be having another surgery on my right shoulder this time tomorrow (Tuesday). I am so scared and nervous. Found out too that my left shoulder will have to be reopened at some point down the road too to remove part of my AC Joint. So to everyone here at The Bubbler land, be safe and say a prayer. For some reason I just got some bad feelings about tomorrow. Nite

I have no idea what the temp is outside but I can feel that it is cooler than it has been and that is definitely a plus.
It's my youngest daughter's 16th b-day today so we are heading out in a short while to do a bunch of fun things today.
HAPPY SWEET 16TH BIRTHDAY!
Hope everyone else has a good day today too.
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday to my sister, Karen, too!

You're in my prayers. Good luck and God Bless.

Thanks ya'all for not making a big deal about my appearance here.
Dreadful not being able to hang out at my favorite online joint as much as I'd like. Haven't had to work this hard in ages!
While many manufacturers are seeing a slowing in orders and have laid off workers, DCA’s orders have already increased 17 percent from 2008, Jim Metzger said.
DCA now has between 25 and 30 employees. The company is looking for more employees...
Gratifying to be part of the web presence partner team with companies like DCA.

Meanwhile, I should be online most of the afternoon fiddling around and updating.. be back in a bit!
Driving up to Kansas City on the 5th (Friday) to take Misty's girls up to their grandparents.. they can't take Eli (the 2 yr old) so we'll be coming back with him.
Getting ready to post the Site of the Week and update threads over at www.webloggers.org.
People are already blowing off firecrackers outside.. can't even wait for the 4th. Fireworks tents are up all over town tho it's illegal to shoot them off in town.
For some reason I just got some bad feelings about tomorrow. Nite
Sorry to hear that Kelly......it's nerve-wracking waiting for surgery. I know more than I want to about that! Hang in there kiddo.
We'll wait for an update......
Good morning everyone. Pancakes for breakfast with fresh strawberries, I hear they're in season up north, right? Ours are on their way out here. TONS of Florida blackberries are on the stands though! YUM! Been eating them like they're going out of style. And my "tomato man" up the road from me has some awesome heirloom tomatoes coming out now. And cantelope, and eggplant (the white kind-love them!). Our growing season is so long we get 2 crops a year. I've picked about dozen tomatoes from my own plants and tons of peppers.
Letting my jalepenos go to red, they are so much sweeter that way, yet hotter! Love that.
Busy 4th of July week for me, in fact, I better get out there. Still HOT for us, although the humidity died out a LITTLE. It even got down to 70 last night! WOW! I opened the french doors to my bedroom (which has a screened porch on the other side) and let the cool breeze come in. I love listening to the sounds of the night from the water....except those darn Pelicans get up too early and start squawking! Like having a Rooster around.
Do you realize that today is exactly a 1/2 year through 2009?
Where's tamed?????
Ya'll have a great day, stay cool.

Morning Toes and everyone
I would love to listen to the water all night. Years ago I camped near Lake Michigan most of the summer and loved hearing the waves at night. I even fell asleep on the beach all night a few times. lol I would so love to have a vacation house near water some day. But you can keep your heat down there. lol It's been in the 60's around here the last couple of days and I so love it.

Pancakes sure sound good...especially with fresh strawberries! YUM! I think our strawberries are almost done here now too. I've made all the jam I'm going to make anyhow.

That must feel like paradise...except for the pelicans. It has been unusually cool here with no humidity the last few days. I wouldn't mind if it stayed like this all summer long.
I'm waiting for my BFF to get here. She is taking me out to lunch at the Mexican restaurant to celebrate my birthday a few days early and then we may do a bit of shopping afterward. Should be a nice day.
You guys are nuts, this is too cold for summer. Only 63 here right now and I had to put on pants and a jacket outside while in the garden. I prefer to wear shorts, go barefoot and sit on my deck drinking beer in the evening. Give me back my 70-80 and some sun would be nice. These clouds are depressing me. Even the birds are more quiet when it's cloudy.
We haven't been on our deck at all this week because of the cold air. I miss my deck. Been to windy or crappy for bike riding too. The wind here on Sun. and Mon. was like hurricane force almost. I think I got almost blown over going for a walk. I was afraid it was going to rip the canopy on our deck the way it was blowing.
I would say that I only like the weather in Wis. about 15% of the time LOL.
Who wants to come help me finish clean all the cupboards today? I promise you it'll be fun. Then after that I get to dust and do a few other odd jobs.
Been in bed all day, have yet to leave my bedroom at all... I slept most the day & feel like crap. Sore throat, ear pops with each swallow, my head hurts, body aches ugh! i hate when the weather is back & forth like this, i always end up sick, on meds & sleeping too much
At least i woke up now feeling a bit better & hungry so i may just have to leave my room soon, in hopes that i got all the hurling behind me now.
I hope everyone else is having a better day than me!

So is this the weekend you will be meeting her parents as well? aren't they in Kansas?
Drive safe! Holiday travel can be tricky sometimes.

Sounds like fun.. Any plans for your birthday? being on the 4th of July at least there is always something going on for that day
No Olive Garden for your dinner huh? Is it a Mexican restaurant in the Dells? I've yet to find a good one there.

I wouldnt hate the WI weather as bad if it made up its mind! it's freezing one day & the next our roads are buckling from the heat, what do you know a few days later we are freezing AGAIN! It sux imo... i agree with you, but i think 15% is giving it too much credit lol
Well, I guess the plan is to meet her sister partway in Harrisonville to drop the kids off then when we pick them up, we'll be going all the way up to Kansas City (on the Missouri side).
Yeah, riding with Misty is an experience that will turn my hair grey before it's time..

Made it to work today, not sure i'll make it all day, but i'm here to try, still sick. Due to the Holiday this is our Friday & tomorrow is our paid day off, i just have to try & get through this day without making anyone else sick.
Went shopping yesterday so there's a few choices for breakfast today. Yeah! lol In the summer we really cut way back on cooking and eating but today I am hungry for some reason. Maybe knowing we have some extra food in the house.
Well the 4th is almost here. What does everyone have planned for the weekend? I think we may have a small cookout and then later go to the fireworks. Fireworks is the best part of the day. Love to take pictures of them.
