I'm going to write this exciting paper today for my internship. There's so much paperwork involved, and here I thought I was done with that when I graduated. Boo @ paperwork!! There must be some reason that teacher and torture sound so much alike
I'm going out to eat tonight (Sat.) and then to see a band and drink some beer. Not sure about Sunday, but I may do some shopping. It's time to start thinking Christmas presents.
It just burns my a$$ that she has her boyfriend here & he is useless! he's in for a rude awakening now, i refuse to let her lift a finger for him till she is healthier, he can starve for all i care.
Your mom is a saint for putting up with that. Yes, let her rest because she needs it.
I'm not really sure, but it would somewhere with no snow or bitter cold. Australia would be nice, love their accent.
Plus, their seasons are backwards...Christmas/New Year's is in the height of summer...just think of all the obnoxious photos of the holidays you could send back here exactly when we've sick to death of winter.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm, Blue? (I know, I'm SO sensitive. )
Sounds like you'll have some fun tonight, at least!
Oh how I love a great fish fry! Did you cook it or go to one? I know somewhere there is a topic on 'where is a good fish fry? or something like that here. I'll look it up later and post the link here. Maybe you could post and tell us more about this fish fry you did.

Today, I'm making pepperoni bread to take over to my aunt and uncle's later on and potato soup to have for lunch and, the next couple days, for dinner. Plus I"ll bake some chicken to keep in the frig for meals for the week. Sunday is my MRE (meals ready to eat) day. I never feel like cooking during the week.
Good Morning all, not sure what to do with myself today!
Come shopping with me hahaha! I just told my husband that we need to start thinking about Christmas shopping. He just gave a loud groan. I feel the same way, but it has to be done. Remember when this used to be fun?

Anyway, that's what I'm up to today.
hmmm not a bad idea, maybe i should do that too... i remember when it was not only fun, but affordable & layaway plans existed to make it that much easier!
Missed the Packer game chat. Went to the Y today...first time in many years. I was just going to finish getting situated with the locker, laundry, etc., and ended up using the sauna, whirlpool and shooting some buckets plus a weight machine circuit.
Yours truly is one tired puppy.
Had a great Webb's breakfast as a reward. My usual eggs over easy, potatoes, whole wheat toast and coffee - plus a couple of great blueberry pancakes!
Went out for a "loaf of bread" and ended up spending $160
I bought alot of meats: pork tenderloain, smoked turkey breast, ham, hot dogs, etc...

man how times have changed!!
I seen on TV or somewhere that Target has layaway plans. They said people forgot about the layaway they have because everyone uses plastic nowadays.
Got a few things done today. Did some behind the scenes work on my website. Waited for all the snow they said we were gonna get and it turned out to be a small dusting, all gone now
After a short snooze I came back and frequented this and two other forums.
Just a reminder for the regulars here: The 'Welcome Center' doesn't always show the newest Members right at the top.
Remember to check the whole page for a
The check mark - - shows the threads you've already posted in. So when you scan the page and don't see the , you haven't posted a 'Welcome' in that thread yet.
I mention this here because the regulars here are among those who make sure to welcome new Members who introduce themselves here at theBubbler.
So, with that I encourage everyone to mosey on over to the Welcome Center... and to stay warm and have a great week!
I couldn't help myself, but I was so excited to post this. My wife got this University of Michigan Garden Gnome last Christmas and for the longest time, I was dying to find a Wisconsin Badger Gnome to over-power hers. The place she got hers, just started selling them last month and I wanted to share it with you all. Check it out, I'm sure I won't be the only person to get one.
I'm new to this forum and it won't let me post the URL, so the site is called Gnome Frenzy if you want to google it.

Good night all.
I never knew Target had a layaway.. I know wal-mart no longer does unless you are purchasing very expensive jewelry or electronics. Honestly i dont think i've used layaway since my babies were very young (10 yrs ago maybe), but it sure did help when buying for them @ younger ages. Now everything they want is so expensive they are lucky to get a couple small gifts & one one.
