Well I think today was a great day as far as the bubbler party. Had a ton of fun tonight in the chat room. So many members showed up to chat. Let's try to do this again sometime real soon. Next time I want to see some pizza being passed around keith!

Hi Carol....like you, I am getting ready to do my "rounds" with animals, watching the sunrise from my porch right now here in Florida.....quite stunning this morning. Do I really HAVE to go walk dogs now?
It's a bit chilly (for us) this early in the AM, but nothing my electric blanket cannot cure on my futon out here, and my 2 dogs are under cover keeping the toes warm.
I am watching this peaceful dawn of an election day begin, with some pelicans diving into the Santa Rosa Sound looking for breakfast, a couple Dolphin swimming West to Pensacola Pass, and the purples and blues of the sky turning pink and bright orange....the water is glass. I love this time of day.
I hope that everyone enjoys this election day.....GET OUT AND VOTE!
I'll put the coffee on for everyone, help yourselves, I'll even add a pan of cheese danish....

Great hearing from you ToesInSand!! Yup...got the critters going. My morning with them started about 5 am.
I think today is going to be one of my last good days outside (74 today) and I better get my plastic hung in the pig building and get them insulated for the winter.
I'll probably hang it on my windows today as well. Friday is suppose to be 38.
If Obama doesn't become our next president, i will always believe the da*n election is rigged & i will never vote again, not that it will make a difference, but that's my stance!

In the NW part of Florida, this is the BEST time of the year. We don't get alot of "color change" in vegetation, everything stays pretty green, but we DO get a "winter" of sorts.....(here me whine in Feb!).....we sometimes get below freezing! HA!
Summer (MAY-SEP) it IS HOT!!! The humidity is a bit much.....after being here so long though, I have gotten used to it. New member "tamed", came down to see me in June, it was already pretty steamy.
Right now until March, our sunrises and sunsets are stunning. The kind where you just have to stop and watch....and even though you see that sun rise and set over the emerald waters that are so clear and glassy almost every day......it still makes you pause and drink it all in.
Given that.......Hurricane season makes you crazy! We are winding down now, and it officially comes to a close Nov. 30th.
