I had a good dinner.. baked salmon with brussel sprouts.. put a bit of strawberry-banana nectar in the bottom of the baking dish, drizzled the salmon with butter and sprinkled with brown sugar..
Called in sick to work today, now waiting for the meds to kick in so i can crawl back into bed for a while. Was awake until almost 3am sick to my stomach & still feeling pukey.
I hope your back is feeling better this morning Dave!
Still stifff and sore.. we'll see how the day progresses.

Wow I am sooo behind here! Woke up yesterday not only to a bunch of very wet snow but my computer is messed up. Something about my password needing to be reset etc. I called the number but of course was sent to India I think...the guy made no sense and kept mixing up his words from check your modem to check your router, you know the black box...but the 'black box' he kept saying was the modem but when I asked him again he would say it wasn't and then..oh, never mind, I was just confuse, he was confusing and I finally hung up to stare at my computer for awhile.
Right now I'm at my daughter's house. Hopefully I will figure out what's wrong with the computer at home and get back on line. Frustrating to know I have the internet just don't know how to get my computer to use it.
We need a lot more if we are going to make my guess. We need about 2000 more posts to get there. That's about 500 posts per day. Do you think you can do it?
Unless I get my computer figured out I won't be doing my share to help out.
My tulips are all up too. Should I go out and cover them or will they be okay if we should get some snow?
We decided to cover them, hope they will be ok when I take the cover off. One yellow tulip was actually blooming! I have never had tulips in March before. Took a picture of it and will try to get it on here when I figure out my computer mess I have at home.
Wow...I hope you didn't put away your snow shovel yet Patti! We were supposed to get 1 to 3 inches of snow here, but now they changed it to possibly just a dusting.
We got hit with really heavy wet snow. I first woke up around 5:45, got up, looked outside and saw we were all full of snow and went back to sleep until my daughter woke me up around 7:40 to tell me she was stuck in the snow. (she was able to get other help thank goodness). I then got up and got ready for the day and went to open the back door to let the dog out and it was shut solid with the heavy snow against it! ahhhh
Anyways, I was lucky I had put the shovel right by the door opening so my youngest daughter and I worked with one hand that we were able to finally squeeze through the door, grab the shovel and maneuvered the shovel around to lift a little snow at a time away from the door. LOL I kept thinking that someone out there was watching and taking a video so they could send it in to funniest videos! lol Anyways, my daughter was finally able to squeeze through and finish getting the snow away from the door. Whew.
We then proceeded to work on the long driveway and it was so heavy! Could barely lift a shovel full at a time. Fortunately it went up in the 40's and a lot of it melted.
I did take some great pictures of it since it really was very pretty. Especially the way the trees were totally full with the snow sticking to all the branches. It did melt off in a matter of a few hours though. By afternoon it was no nice out that you could walk around without a coat. Weird, felt like a beautiful spring day but snow was all over. lol
You, too? I went to open the door on Saturday and I must have twisted wrong, because I felt a sharp pain in my back. It only hurts if I try to bend over or twist a certain direction. Backs sure can be funny that way. One wrong move and you end up pulling something.
Just read that you are having back issues too blue. Hope you are feeling better soon too.
I remember one time years back all I did was bend down to pick up a diaper that fell on the floor. That's all it took for me to get that pain across my back. Ended up on the couch for a couple of weeks having a hard time getting up and moving around. Like labor pains in the back if I moved wrong.

They grill it right in front of you using these 2 long metal things to flip and chop on it the big grill. It was tasty and you can build the meal just the way you like it.
BD's is a great place to go especially around Mardi Gras time. We use to go to the one across from Hawthorn Mall in Illinois for years. The first time we went it was Mardi Gras and it was really festive with the cooks singing as they flipped the food etc. About over a year or so ago it closed down and we thought it was the end of going but we found out there is one up by Milwaukee too. Haven't been there yet but hope to go sometime soon.
If you haven't been BD's, check it out..it's a fun place to eat at.

So frustrating getting the people from India. They get mad if you make them repeat things. If you can do a live chat, that might be better. At least typewritten words doesn't come with an accent.
When I did the live chat with Norton, I got someone named Telma (not Thelma) and I swear the last time I contacted them long time ago was a Telma. Maybe everyone is named Telma there LOL.
Do you need to contact them directly to solve your problem? Otherwise try posting your problem on PC Pitstop.com. I have a couple times. People seem to very knowledgable and helpful there.

I hope your back is feeling better this morning Dave!
Hope you are feeling better. Being sick is no fun. Ginger helps settle the stomach, so if you can get some ginger tea or drink some flat ginger ale.

You must have bent over wrong somehow. Backs can be funny like that. I know I've gotten back pain from bending over vacuuming out my car or bending forward to vacuum our steps. Once I was using a hose attachment to scrub our siding clean. All that pushing to scrub and leaning over a flower bed and the next day I had such bad pain between my shoulder blades. I walked around like an old lady for a few days.

Sorry to hear that you're under the weather there! I hope you get better soon!

That sucks that you are have to call another country to get help with computer problems! It sounds like you were quite patient with the person though. I think I would've gotten angry and hung up! LOL Sure hope you can get it figured out soon.
I am just sitting around waiting for more roofers to show up to give me an estimate on our house. Two have already been here and two more are on the way. I just hope they don't show up at the same time! We're not sure if we want to go with metal or traditional shingles but so far it looks like metal is going to be way more expensive. One guy told me that if he did the house, he would throw in the labor for free on the garage and just charge for the shingles. That sounds like a bargain to me and I like bargains.
Morning all.
Get some sleep and get better soon Latina.

Thanks everyone! I slept till 10:30 after the meds kicked in, still feeling sick, but not quite as bad. Just took some more meds & now trying to eat a little something, but feeling better already.
Hope your back is feeling better today Blue & Dave.
Yeah Ken, keep that dang snow up dere in dah Nortwoods where she belong!
Whew, I don't know what to say, our best posters are all down with something. Woora, woora, woora, we aint going to hit that 50,000 mark this way. pk with a computer virus, what the Sam Hill happened all at once? I know it's flu season; but for computers too; strange things going on!!!
Perhaps some other lame website planned a conspiracy to keep us from hitting the mark??? Never thought of that one did yah?
That was probably it, they went to Dave's house and gave him a shove twisting his already fragile sacroiliac, then they knocked on the door at Blue's house knowing that she already had computer problems, and would be upset enough to turn funny and wrench her back. Snuck over to pk's and dumped a computer virus in the window, and on the way back north they stopped at Latina's and threw something in her food! And we haven't heard from keith for a while. Hmmm; what if?
