I have come to the conclusion that I really, really dislike snow. Especially when it's in my driveway!
I'm tired. Just got done with cleaning up the mess we got hit with last night.
Yesterday I came out of the house at 2:00 just staring at all the snow that fell during the day knowing I had to get my daughter from school soon. I thought..oh, man, gotta dig out again when all of a sudden I heard a distant noise coming up the drive....it was my kind neighbor with his snow blower and he did the whole driveway for me. That was the nicest things that has happened to me for a long time.
Just wish it didn't snow again last night and I was back to square one again.
Is it Spring yet???

Last night, someone said it's supposed to be 15 below--without wind chill--next week. As my grandaughter says as she's nodding off despite her best efforts to stay awake: I don't like it!

Let’s push aside the 39 inches of the white stuff from last month and talk about the cold weather. Just in case you didn’t notice the temperature while shoveling, December was much colder than normal in Oshkosh.
The average temperature in December was 15.8 degrees, which makes it the 10th coldest December in the city since weather records were kept starting in the 1880s, said officials from the National Weather Service in Green Bay. For about the first three weeks of December it was cold enough for the month to flirt with the top five coldest Decembers recorded in Oshkosh.
I read we got about 8 inches yesterday and another maybe 3 inches last night? Not sure but shoveling it all out felt like a ton of it dropped.
I just read that we are now going to get hit this week with the coldest weather we have had in 15 years! Sub zero weather during the day time and even colder at night. Said something about 'waves' of cold with another 3 inches of snow in the mist of it. I'm tired.

How cold is that? We had -20 last couple of winters. December had about -20 I think.
The coldest temps I remember was back on '95 when it hit -32, which made -10 not feel so bad.

Reading the weather report and it certainly looks like we are going to get hit with some nasty stuff coming this next week. Not only are we going to get snow off and on the temps are going to go way down so it will be burrrrrr cold outside!
What happened to the global warming stuff? I think we could use some next week.

It's cold (relatively speaking) here in NW FL, overcast and drizzly.....good day for me to stay inside and try to get my home organized, been quite neglected since pre-Christmas. How can ONE person and 2 dogs and 2 birds make such a mess??? ;[

My goal today is to get my mini fridge moved to the upstairs master suite (3rd floor) along with an extra microwave I own to have my "mini-kitchen" in place so I don't have to go downstairs at night. ha ha ha! (if you saw ALL of my stairs, you'd get it.....homes have to be built HIGH above sea level here) Not being Lazy, JUST PRACTICAL.
I have a dolly, but I personally have never used it......hmmm.........if you hear a scream and a cuss word, it's just me.
Or, I may stick to the original plan: bubblebath, hot dogs, beer and football..........
