No, I never saw the hot seat thing. Is it only one question per day? Or would it work like taking turns with questions?
I remember there was a game show called Hot Seat when I was a kid. There was a guy named Nipsey Russell on it. I remember some of the strangest stuff sometimes.
sounds so exciting & glad it works for you both... do you ever travel with him while he works? just to get away or whatever? Does he ever get enough time off to have vacations with you or what not? Is he well known & a name we maybe have heard of? (not asking names)... Have you met any famous people he has worked for?
you had a gig planned this weekend? are you also in the music industry?
forgive me if this is old news to the others, it's new to me & i'm just simply nosey LOL
1st...to BB---been to so many shows since I was 12 (!) I couldn't list them all! Before I met Sig-other I had been around/worked with/been friends with alot of musicians, so met most before him. I have done video work, promo work, etc. in the music biz, after Sig and I met, we found out we had actually been at the same concerts in the past, just never met. Probably walked right past each other backstage! There's even a photo of us in a group "shot of Motley Crue & "crew" somewhere in the U.S., he's on one side, I am on the other, 10 years before we even met. Strange!
Sig is well known in the industry, even won a few awards for his work in production. No names of course.
Yep, met alot of "famous" people before and after him. Most of course, just in passing, but there are still a couple that we actually keep in touch with, or are close to.
This weekend I was going to go see a guy in concert he works work with alot, Bryan Adams, and a good friend of ours who works for him. Just hang out. I am curious to see this new "accoustic" version of his tour. But I have to work now.
Nope, rarely travel anymore to go see him on the road, it's boring. Used to do it a LOT years ago, if it was a concert I really wanted to see. HA! I am way too busy with my business, but I want to do it more often to get away. Most of the time it's just going from "airport to bus to hotel to venue to bus to hotel to airport". In between, alot of sitting around backstage reading or on the internet doing NOTHING. Pretty boring. I try to work it so I can catch a show where they have a day off before or after in the same city so we can at least go out to dinner. So I have been to alot of cities around the U.S. but have never SEEN the city!
The best part is just never having to buy tickets to a concert. And my son has been to alot a shows too.
Vacations? It'll NEVER happen, at least for the TWO of us.
When he is home, it's like being on vacation because of where we live, so he can't justify going to a beach anywhere further away.
But I sure do get restless!

Any interesting shows that stand out, like where something happened either good or bad?

By far the BEST concert ever was the Pink Floyd tour of 1994 (I think) at Vanderbilt Univ. in Nashville. It was so darn good that the city ruled against having any more rock shows at the stadium because so many people complained about the noise and lights! HA! Had friends working the show so I watched it from the soundboard, wow....amazing effects.
I had only seen them once before back in the 70's for Dark Side Of The Moon tour. And that was pretty impressive as well.
Always the runner up is Page & Plant/Zep, Plant alone, but I am partial.....seen the Page & Plant tours about 50 times. Never gets old.
Just saw Elton John a few months ago for the 1st time......he was very very good! It was a very very long concert!!! He talked to the audience in between almost every song and went around and signed autographs and posed for pictures even! That was fun to see him do that! A true pro.

~ Hot seat is where we make a thread for people to sign up & a list is made in the order they volunteer, it's an ongoing thread & once you have completed your turn on the hot seat you can sign up for another turn in this thread, therefore added to the bottom of the list again.
~ Then a second thread is made called "The Hot Seat", this is where the actual questions take place...
~ First 10 posts can ask just 1 question of that person, although you can post more than one question, it's one per post & give others a chance to ask as well (10 questions total), meaning we can ask any questions we want of them. whether it be about their life or just making up silly questions etc...
~ Once the tenth question is answered by the person in the hot seat we move on to the next person & repeat... can be fun & get to know one another better that way.
Thanks. Insurance drops too at the end of Jan. Unless you pay full premium of $1200. What a way to bring in the new year. I am just shocked. It is a window and door company. Small, like 250 ish employees. Seeing the housing market is down, no need for windows or doors.
WoW again i'm sorry to hear it & pray that he is able to find something soon.
Will be around but going to be concentrating on updating some lake links posts so may not post as much in the regular threads til at least the bulk of 72 counties is done. Always just a PM away if needed.
If I'm not online, will be offline working in BBCode Writer.
Thanks so much for letting us know...I was concerned and I miss her posts!

Anyways, she will be back on the bubbler, just not sure how soon. She just has some issues she is dealing with right now and she is still not completely feeling well yet.
Hopefully we will have her back here with all her great posts, and animal pictures/videos soon.
I will say the dream answers are the funniest ones.
Oh, do I have a sore butt cheek tonight. I was going down the stairs before and stepped too close to the edge and down I went, hitting each step with my butt. I just laid there for a couple minutes moaning in pain. That one hurt like heck! I'm already seeing a big bruise on my butt and I'm sure there will be a couple on my legs that didn't feel the impact so much. Anyone want to massage my butt lol lol lol.
I was reading home remedies for getting rid of bruises faster. One said to smear melted chocolate on the area...I don't think so! Another said to use toothpaste and another said vinegar. So do I want my butt to smell like mint of vinegar? lol
Well, got the word early. Mike, my husband came home for lunch to say they announced they are laying off 48 people. He is one of them. I am so screwed.
Kelly, I am so sorry to hear this. What will you and your husband do?
You may be Queen For A Day, but the massage thing might be asking too much...
(Hope you're not too banged up.)

sorry to read about your butt LOL (not laughing at you, just funny to sympathize with your butt lol)
I'd pass on both, but if i had to choose i'd go with chocolate, but i'm weird like that
I'm game for the hot seat thing...what do you say everyone? Latina, since you know the "rules," would you be willing to get us started? Could be fun!
I would be willing, no problem.. can do that tomorrow evening since i'm on here from work during the day & right now i'm beat & headed to bed... are others interested in signing up for it?
another option could be answer one question & post the next, whoever pops in the thread next does the same & so on... that's a bit less personal though since you wouldn't be asking a question of a specific person.
Cool! I'm on page 85, but maybe I somehow made my settings different.

Alan Alda type of "Man's Man" you are. Ladies, here's a sensitive guy!
Hope you can kick back and relax now that all the toys are delivered.
Still doing a few parties in January I'll bet.

Page / Plant was one of the best I've concerts I've attended. String section of the Milwaukee Symphony appeared out of nowhere. 8th row right. Wow!
You mentioned Bryan Adams. Took my sister to her first concert to see him at Alpine Valley. 4th row center. Great!

My husband and I were thinking of going to a show tonight, but I might be having second thoughts. It depends on what the roads are like by tonight. Since he works out of town, he can see what it's like on the way home. If I don't get to this one tonight, there's something else going on this Sat. I was so hoping to catch the show tonight, because it's only going to be one time.
You should see the pretty purple tattoo on my backside today.

I think whatever way we do it, it will work out. Look at how many different answers I had with the strangest dream question.
