I love Ella's Deli. As soon as you said big carousel, I knew it! I love all the different animated things going on. Makes it more interesting to eat at. There's also all different things inside each table under the glass table tops. There's one table with a train going around insides. Then there's the table with the magnetic dust you can play with. Kind of large version of the children's toy.
buy an entertainment guide. Get great deals where you can get $$ off that helps pay enough so that it's like just one person eating.
Be careful with the new entertainment guide. I found a few places in there that haven't been in business for a while, but are still in the book. Kind of stinks to drive all that way and find out they closed.
Other than that, I like using the entertainment book. I've found a few new favorite restaurants that way.
Blue, you started the 100th page--I think you deserve a special prize. Let's see...how about, all day tomorrow, you get to ask anyone anything you want and we have to answer?
Ask Toes about some of the guys she dated in Nashville. Not saying we have to answer with the whole truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
oh oh!!!!
Let's just say......I never have to pay for any concerts. Gotta love the LAMINANT ALL ACCESS passes.
Funny that we all still keep in touch......and scary that my Sig-Other works with some of them. He has a wonderful sense of humor......most of the time. (he's on the management/tech end of the biz, and my "dating" pref. was always the "artist") What happened? Must be love.

This info will be deleted when you least expect it then a test will follow it to see how much info you really did retained from all of this! lol
Oh, who said I was going to ask normal questions.
I could ask you want color your underwear are or what's the most disgusting thing you ever ate. I could ask what the strangest dream you ever had. Or who is the scariest person that you know. I could ask you what was the last thing you burnt on the stove. I could ask what your husband's nicknames for you are. LOL, I don't know, just trying to come up with something different.
I once started a thread in my other forum where people had to list 5 things about themselves. It was a popular thread. People had to list things that we didn't already know. It was an interesting way to learn more about others.
Your man travels for that long at a time? how long does he get to stay home with you between trips? I don't know if i'd like that!
Then again maybe (just maybe) i'd have a lasting relationship if he was away from home half of the year lol
It works! Perfect for ME! He has never been married, could not sustain a relationship with his career. (music/concert biz, road work) Every girl always wanted to be settled down/kids, etc. We met 11 years ago and I was already done with kids and had lived alone, happily, for well over 10 years. I adore living alone, but do like "sharing space" from TIME TO TIME....
He is USUALLY gone for 3 months, home for 2 weeks, on avg. Although right now when he left in early Dec. I did not expect him back until April, but he was making noise last night on the phone about "coming home" maybe even this weekend for just a week or 2. (too cold in KC where he is doing some freelance work at the arena there) No HUGE concerts going on.
But he will be gone late Feb-April to continue the a tour as Stage Mgr. for The WHO. Been with them for a long time. 3rd leg of the tour in Australia, etc. Japan was last fall.
We were so hoping Robert Plant would do the Zep thing, but he's tired from his Allison Krause tour and wants time off. He's worked for him for, gosh, 20 years?? Maybe more.
I need to check my Skymiles and go do something fun........had a gig planned for this weekend but my animal clients screwed that up. Free show and hotel in another city.....WHAH!
But maybe I will get a surprise if he decides to come down for warmer weather.

So what are some of the bands you have seen in concert?
Any interesting shows that stand out, like where something happened either good or bad?
I can't say I've ever been to a bad concert. Just some are better than others.
It's been a long time since I've been to a concert. It seems when something comes around that I want to see, it's on a week night and we can't go. My husband has to get up very early, so that would never work.

I know what you mean, I've found comments a while later and didn't know they were there. I wish it would the site would let you know they are there, kind of like private messages let you know. I have it set up so friend requests go to email.

I guess I could answer my own ques.
1. tan, yes I had to check first.
2. sea cucumber, tasted like slimy rubber, so gross!
3. going to the store to buy a baby that was packaged up and went home to prepare it for dinner. It looked a lot like chicken. Was the strangest baby I've ever seen.
4. Michael Jackson
5. grilled cheese
6. usually sweetie, but he used to call me jellybean and I don't like them much. I'm sure he has a few others for when I'm in a bad mood
I called Carol this morning and spoke to her. It was nice finally hearing her voice after all the times we 'talked' here on the bubbler. She is such a great person to talk to, felt like I had known her for a long time.
Anyways, she will be back on the bubbler, just not sure how soon. She just has some issues she is dealing with right now and she is still not completely feeling well yet.
Hopefully we will have her back here with all her great posts, and animal pictures/videos soon.

When i first started i told the guys in my office about meebo.com & we all started using it, it's a site where we were able to access yahoo, msn & other messengers without downloading it... well that was my first day on the job & everyone loved me for it... except the company of course cuz by day 4 it was blocked too LOL

sounds so exciting & glad it works for you both... do you ever travel with him while he works? just to get away or whatever? Does he ever get enough time off to have vacations with you or what not? Is he well known & a name we maybe have heard of? (not asking names)... Have you met any famous people he has worked for?
you had a gig planned this weekend? are you also in the music industry?
forgive me if this is old news to the others, it's new to me & i'm just simply nosey LOL

all other forums i am on or been on had pop up notifications or would notify you of friends & messages up by your name where it shows if you have private messages... i just assumed this site didn't have that option (to add friends).

Whew! So glad to hear that she is ok & hope she gets it all resolved & comes back soon as well!
Well, got the word early. Mike, my husband came home for lunch to say they announced they are laying off 48 people. He is one of them. I am so screwed.

what's the most disgusting thing you ever ate?
collard greens and chitlins.. ack!
what the strangest dream you ever had?
I use to have a recurring dream that i was floating around my house & sometimes would float outside just for fun lol seriously i had this same floting dream for many years, as far back as i can remember actually since i was young... I had that car accident a few yrs ago where i almost died & weird how i haven't had the dream since.
who is the scariest person that you know?
not sure that i know anyone that i fear or would say scares me, however most say my brother is pretty scary when angry.. i dunno, i have never backed down in disagreements & he simply doesn't scare me... mostly because what i know he is capeable of, I know he'd never come at me with.
what was the last thing you burnt on the stove?
boiled eggs LOL
YES i can boil eggs!!! LOL I fell asleep, forgetting i had them boiling & woke to a popping sound & found the water gone & eggs popping like pop corn, but all over the kitchen walls, light fixture etc... that was a while ago!
I could ask what your husband's nicknames for you are?
Never been married...

OMG i am sooooo sorry Kelly
is it a big company or a small family owned business type?
Do they expect it to be long term or short?
Stay strong hun, i know it's easier said than done *hug*
Thanks. Insurance drops too at the end of Jan. Unless you pay full premium of $1200. What a way to bring in the new year. I am just shocked. It is a window and door company. Small, like 250 ish employees. Seeing the housing market is down, no need for windows or doors.

Kelly I'm so sorry. Believe me I know how much it sucks. Been there many times myself. I'm there right now. I'm not looking forward to job hunting. I still haven't started yet, because I'm working on my portfolio first and it's time consuming to get it all just right.
I hope your husband can find other work soon. And I'm not going to be one of those people that says everything happens for a reason or things could be worse. Oh, that gets me going when people say that. So thoughtless!
Remember you always have us here to talk to whenever you need to. If you're having a bad day, it's ok to come here and vent. We are good listeners.

Oh my, that had to be hard to clean up.
This question thing is kind of fun. I think we should have a question of the day each day to answer. You find out a lot about people this way.

Trust me it was NOT easy!
I was thinking a while back of starting a 'hot seat' thread... ever seen those in groups/forums? I wonder how it would turn out here... what do you think of doing that?
