How About Some Paintball This Weekend?

A friend has been trying to get me out for a little paintball this weekend. He bought some paintball gear quite awhile back and has had no one to go out with!

I can remember when I was growing up we actually had bb gun wars! Paintall guns are alot safer!

Anyway, I'd either have to rent or find some cheap paintball equipment somewhere and I'm not sure how often I'd go out so maybe buying would be out of the question.

I love paintball!

Dont forget the extra padding... my first time out was when my kids were little & i only wore the suit provided at the local paintball place, man i remember coming home with bumps & bruises that hurt for a week. dont be fooled by them pellets, they HURT if you aren't prepared.

Yeah, I guess we're not gonna go because I have work to catch up on over the weekend.

When I do go, I expect I'll use rental paintball equipment at first. No sense buying until I see if I like it. I may not even be able to get out often enough to warrant a new purchase. I've seen paintball gear at rummage sales tho. Guess I'll pay closer attention next time.

dgridley, I too am a huge paintball fan. I'm on a Neenah based team(Wolfpack) and we play once or twice a month.

I'd recommend renting equipment the first time out or find some friends that can lend you good equipment. At minimum, you'll want to use a good anti-fog mask that fits your head well. Most rentals tend to fog and fit adults too tight. When your vision is affected, it takes a lot of fun out of the game.

Getting hit only hurts when your adrenaline is low

Those welts induce years of story telling.

Be sure to wear good comfortable boots and thick socks. Bring lots of WATER and stay hydrated.

My other concern is bad knees and hips.. I can't hike like I used to but welts don't concern me.. got plenty of those as a kid with the bb guns

I would like to go sometime tho.

We have a great place in Kenosha where you can go to have all kinds of fun and I noticed they have paintball. We always go for the mini golf and game room and the kids like the Lazar tag part of it and go carts too.

I noticed when looking on the website that you can either rent or bring your own equipment and they have a day that you can bring your own paint too.

Even if you decide to not do the paintball it's really still a fun place to visit.

Thanks for the link.. I'm in love with miniature golf too and always looking for new places to play when I have free time.

If you love mini golf you will love this place. There is also another mini golf course right next to this called Congo River. I really like both places but I think the one with the go carts, etc. has so much more to do after you get done with your golfing. Sometimes we go there just to have fun in the game room.
