After reading this article I realized that I never thought about where our flags were made. I guess I would have assumed if asked that all the flags at least on our government buildings did come from our country.
I just wonder now how fast all the flags will be replaced since I read another article saying nothing was set up in the way of fines if the flags weren't changed out.
Like those intelligent guys from Guinness say
"Brilliant"!!!!!!!!
It really makes you wonder where we are headed that this needs to be a law!!!!!!
Maybe we should be importing our politicians, they would work for less pay, less benefits and work longer hours.

....Now, a very great man once said
That some people rob you with a fountain pen
It didn’t take too long to find out
Just what he was talkin’ about
A lot of people don’t have much food on their table
But they got a lot of forks ’n’ knives
And they gotta cut somethin’....

Exactly what I thought. It's a sad day to find out that a law had to be made to hit people over the head that at least our FLAGS should be AMERICAN MADE. Especially on our GOVERNMENT buildings. geezzz

The next question is..............................
Who is going to be the Flag Cop or Flag inspector? The man that goes around to ensure all public flags are made in USA.
I call it, I want that job and I would enjoy touring the state too .
soooooooooooooooooooo where do I sign up for this gig?
Don't tell me the answer is Blowin' in the wind" either
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Yes, a lot of flags are made in China, as are most of those yellow ribbon magnets you see on cars. I like this law, although I can see it being spun into a negative come election time. And if anyone wants a made in USA flag, Kosco Flags in Waukegan sells made in USA flags exclusively, unless a certain flag is only made elsewhere.
As an aside, I saw a funny ribbon that said "I support Chinese magnet makers".

I think this would be termed a 'government job' so there for I think it would require more than one person to do it...actually I think more like 3 people.
One to hold the pole.
One to climb the pole and check the tag.
And one to write down the results.
lol
Then they would all complain they need an assistant so that person can call or better yet send the results in (sending the results, snail mail so the Post Office can be used too).

You are qualified to be the new system analyst for the state.
Now you also need a redundant system in the event one of the inspectors gets ill or unable to perform their duties.
As a politician I would say you need a reperesentative from each county involved in this project.
During budget crunching/elections years I would recommend the staff be cut in half to reduce over all expense thus saving tax dollar.

Same here. I didn't realize they were all not made here. New job position for someone...go around and check all the flags to make sure they are American Made.
