Snowstorm What????

So this is a snowy season...wow havent' seen this in ohhh 12 years. So lets see who can guess the next name storm and how much snow?

The snowfall will be in the amount of..............10".

The name of the next storm (2/17/08) will be Issabella and we (fox river valley) will get approx 5 " of snow. I wish we would get 24"

Right now at almost 12:00 noon it's 39 degrees and it's been raining most of the morning. I just read that the emergency snow warning for our area has been lifted and we expect ice later this afternoon and maybe only an inch or so of new snow instead of getting alot like they first predicted. That's good at least.

All I know is the driveway here is totally slippery. If I go down I won't be coming back up without putting salt/cat litter out (again!). .. and if they are calling for everything turning to ice later..

what a mess that will make.

When will there be more?

Snow is just wonderful. I like to sit by the window and watch the apartment manager shovel the stuff. Then, for a brief moment, the shovel stops, I see lips move, and the steam of breath...maybe cussing. I smile and pour another cup of coffee.

Life is good from my standpoint.
