Review of work boots

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get a new pair of work boots. I like the slip-on variety (no steel toe needed) and I'm torn between two I saw on eBay. One pair is made by Dickies and the other by Wolverine. I do a lot of walking in all kinds of weather, so I want something durable and comfortable. Does anyone out there have experiences good or bad with either brand of work boots?

Thanks,

Erik

Re: Review of work boots

I know Wolverine steeltoes are good. I, and several people I work with wore them. Comfortable, and very durable.
Now, our reimburseable saftey-shoe retailers don't carry them, I think, so many people now wear Doc Martins. Also a quality workshoe.
In my current job, I wear sneakers. Nike air running shoes are the best I've tried.
I would find these same type boots in a store and try them on, check them out, before buying.
