This past weekend we stopped at an Estate Sale. Nothing new for us since we try to fit in as many as we can. lol
This turned out to be one of the more interesting Estate Sales we have been to for awhile. Translation: I spent money and bought alot of great old gadgets etc.
But one thing I did not count on was meeting a really very nice lady that just opened up her own business right here in our city of Kenosha called SECOND HAND ROSE.
I love resale shops so it peeked my interest when I over heard her talking about her shop. It also catches my interest when someone is doing something that has always been a dream of mine. But for whatever reason I have not been able to start a shop for myself but I always love to hear success stories from others.
Anyways, I spoke to her in great lengh about her new store and found that it actually was right down the street from our home so I made a mental note to stop in the next day after dropping the kids off at school.
Well what a delight! She made a little store seem big with so many collectables, glass ware, books, this and that, and a whole bunch more! lol The basement was even turned into another whole section of great 'stuff' to pick through and check out.
The best part I found was the decent and fair prices. The items were all clean and everything was placed in a very appealing way that made it very easy to see everything that was for sale.
I hope to come back here often as I'm sure she will have many new things to check out and just like Estate sales etc...you never know what you may find!
