lol like the dog ate my homework and the check is in the mail. Dang cat made me race through the stop sign. Next he will blame the dog at the bar as to why he was drinking. lol
Well you see now...the dang dog kept barking and every time he did it made me jump and my beer would splash into my mouth! lol
MADISON, Wis. -- One of Wisconsin's most prominent regional terms -- calling a drinking fountain a bubbler -- probably comes from a 1910s corporate marketing campaign.
I don't know that this is front page news worthy, however it was on the front page of Channel3000 last night.
If you were out on interstate 43 near Oostburg around 1 a.m. Friday you could have seen what 3,000 pounds of sausages looked like on a road.
I never sausage a thing in my life. You didn't post a link. You mustard heard this somewhere. You better ketchup with that truck. Whoever gets the most sausages ends up the wiener.

Can you imagine visiting another state while on vacation and getting arrested for drunken driving not once but 3 times? If that's not bad enough how about 3 times in just 3 days?
That's what happened to a 60 year old Washington Woman that decided to vacation in Wisconsin.

Former Wisconsin State Senator Set to Complete One Million Mile Ride on Motorcycle
The law firm of Hupy & Abraham, S.C. announced today a landing party set for Saturday, April 4 to welcome former Wisconsin State Senator Dave Zien back to Wisconsin as he becomes the first person to ride one million miles on the same Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The feat will earn him a world record from the Iron Butt Association, an international group that oversees and governs safe, long-distance motorcycle riding challenges.

Court records released Wednesday show the woman was sentenced last week to 30 days in jail and fined more than $3,000.
THIRTY DAYS IN JAIL?????? Are they kidding???
3 drunk driving in 3 days & she got ONLY 30 days? WOW she obviously doesn't care & will one day seriously hurt someone being so careless! I bet we will one day read about this horrible woman having hurt someone if not worse... We need better laws in place... drunk drivers get a slap on the wrist like this, then we later read about how someone had to bury their child, lose a limb etc... due to their ignorance...WI laws really burn my azz sometimes!
I thought 30 days in jail was a total slap on the hand too. Apparently when they found her in a closed park she didn't know how she even got there. She also had just one shoe on. Another time she was trying to get out of a ditch where she ran off the road and got stuck and the last time she was driving so bad someone noticed her and called it in.
The only other thing I could find is she was fined around $3,000 besides the 30 days in jail and one fine was $372 for obstructing an officer in the campground arrest.
Hope she makes it back to Washington and forgets about coming back to Wisconsin.
Come to think of it, seems as if they really dropped the ball on this one. I read that the first time she was arrested she was drinking wine out of her car. The second time she admitted that she was still drinking her wine out of her car....shouldn't they have removed the wine from her car the first time she was arrested?

Not to mention... the second & third time should have been "driving without a license & drunk driving" charges, dont you think? Was she allowed to keep her wine & her license??
That woman is an idiot imo & people getting this kind of slap on the wrist is the reason we have so many drunks driving & innocent people getting hurt & killed year after year.
Richland Center Fire Destroys Businesses, Displaces 5 No One Injured In Fire
Five people escaped injury early Tuesday morning as the building that housed them and three longtime businesses was destroyed by fire.
"The blessing is no one was hurt at all. Five people lived upstairs. Nobody was hurt they were all evacuated, thank God," said Barbi Hillishiem, whose family lost three businesses in the fire.
Four apartments and three businesses were damaged in the blaze. The Music Shop, the Frame Corner and the Palace Barber Shop sustained significant damage, WISC-TV reported.
LANGLADE, Wis. -- A motorist relying on a GPS navigation unit found out the hard way that technology is not always the answer.
Sheriff's officials said a woman was driving when the best routing from the GPS sent her onto a road that forked into a snowmobile trail. Several miles down the frozen path she stopped and couldn't turn around in about a foot and a half of snow surrounding the car.
It's easy to misunderstand those GPS's sometimes... I'll be on the highway in Milwaukee & it will tell me to keep left & even repeats it several times, next thing you know there is an exit off to the left & it doesn't tell me to exit, just to keep left (usually shows me a pic of the exit & actually will say the word EXIT)... so i don't exit because it only says "keep left" & end up taking the long way as it re-routes me, but i've had the same issue where it tells me to "merge" right/left where a fork in the road may be & low & behold i follow & end up getting re-routed again lol
In this case she did ask for the "best routing" & had there not been snow or had she been on a snowmobile she would have been on the right path LOL
sorry i shouldn't be laughing, i'm in one of those moods today

Talk about a drinking problem. 3 times? Did she even have time to sober up?
The first one we bought was awful even though it was 'suppose' to be a good one. We decided for fun to follow what it wanted us to do one time when we were coming home from Racine to Kenosha. Well if we followed what it insisted we should do at one point we would have landed in Lake Michigan! lol Another time it took us through an area that we would rather have avoided even though it would make a ton of sense to stay on the main road, and yet another time it kept telling us to turn left at the intersection...except turning left would put us going the wrong way on a one way street! lol
Needless to say we took it back to Best Buy and bought a much better brand/model.

I found that mine only did that until i plugged it into my computer & updated the US maps to 2008 edition... who knows what it was set at before that, when i bought it.

Why to go, lady! Hope you enjoy those prison meals. I hear they have a great mac n cheese that tastes like cardboard. Heck, they probably get to eat better than I do most of the time with the price of food now LOL.
