18-Year-Old Busted for Streaking Across Frozen Lake

For some reason this headline caught my attention. lol Why I asked myself would anyone streak across a Frozen Lake, especially a man? (just thinking how some 'parts' could get mighty cold) lol

Well, guess this 18 year old from Kenosha County, (yes, I have to admit, that's the county I live in), decided to take a family bet to run across the lake. And it wasn't even at night where he could hide doing it. It was 4:20 in the afternoon.

The outcome?
Citation: Lewd and lascivious behavior.
Cost: 753.00 bond.
Court: Judge will decide how much he has to pay for his fine.

The bet??
A mere $30.00 bet that so far there's no mention if he collected or not.

Worth it?
Not sure. No comment on that.

Would you do it for a $30.00 bet??

If not, how much would it take you to run across a frozen lake?
$100.00? $500.00? $1,000,000.00? lol

Remember, he had nothing on except his socks.

The things people will do for family attention.

Re: Wisconsin's news snippets

I heard he could barely do it without socks.

If you have not noticed, look at the time this occured!!!!!
That may have affected his judgement somewhat.

I did notice the time, that's when I said that it wasn't even dark out to try to hide. lol

I checked out several other articles and they all said pretty much the exact thing that he had on only socks. One however mentioned that he was sober at the time he did this. I'm guessing this is what you mean when you said the 'time' may have affected his judgement? Of course I would think if it was night and not day that drinking would be more the reason for doing this.

Anyways...just wondering...when you were 18, would you have streaked in your socks across a frozen lake in the broad daylight for thirty bucks? lol or should I ask..how many times when you were young did you go streaking? I think it was pretty popular years back.

Re: Wisconsin's news snippets

Now it seems the story has changed from the bet being only $30.00 to a higher amount of $300.00. (maybe they thought it sounded better consdering the $750.00 fine he is getting) lol

Anyways, the winnings went toward the fine and the father paid the rest of it. Apparently the father put the son up to the bet of running across the lake that is located behind their house. According to the 18 year old streaker, he accepted the crazy bet since his father and uncle did the same thing 20 years ago with the exception of getting caught.

This is a family that loves to do crazy bets they say. But the son did learn something from this...he said he would not streak across the lake again..but, that doesn't mean he will quit taking dares and bets if the money is right.

Re: Wisconsin's news snippets

IT’S NOT ALWAYS GREAT TO BE #1

Well Wisconsin is on top of the list in so many things but being number 1 on the top of this list is not necessary a great thing.

It turns out that Wisconsin is the #1 State for drunk drivers. We have the worst drunken driving rate in all the country according to a government report. The report shows that in most states 15 percent of adults that drive do so under the influence of alcohol this past year. While Wisconsin adult drivers estimated at over 25 percent. Not a good thing to be known as.

Mystery noise inside Wisconsin home?

A couple that lives in Greenbay is having a terrible time sleeping since developing a mysterious noise and vibration in their home. Seems as if it doesn't help if they close the windows or leave them open..the noise is still there. It is explained like a semi is parked nearby but upon looking there is no semi. Very strange indeed.

How odd! I wonder what is making the noise? Is there a follow up to this?

Found out one of our clients, Grade A Construction, helped on the last one.

Have you heard anything, Carol?

I wonder if we could get video of them doing video?
