Good hotels in Milwaukee?

Does anyone know of some?

I plan to stay one night in September, so I can go to 2 Brewer games: Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon.

I know of hotel websites, but do any list what the area around it is like? I don't want to stay in a bad part of the city, and I frankly don't know the city enough to determine the good and bad areas.

Hard to go wrong with http://thepfister.com/i. Right downtown, near Calatrava - Milwaukee Museum of Art - and the lakefront. A Milwaukee landmark.

The Pfister would be a great place to stay as Keith said.

I also agree that you can not go wrong with a Holiday Inn.

My first choice basing it on cost would be a Holiday Inn. But if those were all booked I would not hesitate to spend the extra $$ and stay at the Pfister.
