It's funny how sometimes their gas prices across the border like that is higher, then other times I find it lower. Not sure why that is.
I don't go down to Zion as often as I use to but I still have friends and family there. If you are on Sheridan Road gong through town you go right past goflo.com's office. A friend of mine is the owner of that and he has coupons for area things to do, food places etc. on his site. Check it out next time you know you are going to Zion and you may find a coupon to have lunch somewhere with your friend.
goflo.com
appreciate the tip, however i went there a couple times the past 2 weeks, giving someone a ride, but doubt i'll ever have reason to go there again. As i said before, my bestfriend lives in IL (Freeport) and their gas is always 10 to 20 cents more, maybe because it's a smaller town & not all that close to a big city.
I been using gas buddy for years, but since moving here i've noticed that my area is always updated a few days after the actual change of price & sometimes a change is skipped over if it changes within those days... when i lived in Sheboygan and Appleton i never had that problem with gas buddy
bad thing is it's user dependant for updates & people like me rather not take the time to help update it, we just want it updated quick so we can check it out lol.
Right around the areas that I drive alot in our city (taking kids to school etc.) I notice the gas prices jump between 1.89-1.98 back and forth each day. It's like they can't make up their minds which price they want.
As I posted several times here, check prices in Kenosha as well as your own city with this handy website:
Another sign that summer is just around the corner...gas prices are starting to creep up again.
The prices have stayed under $2.00 for the longest time but noticed the other day it was up to $2.05 and now it's at $2.09. Not good to see it going up.

$2.09 here as well & a friend of mine who manages a local station tells me we will see $4.00 by mid June or early July... not good!
Gas prices to rise again in coming weeks, AAA says

Motorists can expect gas prices to rise "for reasons that have less to do with supply and demand but a great deal to do with the strength of the U.S. dollar,"
I don't want to see a replay on last summers prices, but looks like we may be headed that way.
Hi,
Read that the countries average price per gallon this year, is 7 cents higher then last year.
Kind of like watching a boat toss around in the surf, never resting, but slowing down, maybe take on a little water. Then pop up on a wave float on out, but then float back in.
They navigate gas prices don't they. Planning an " intentional error " ?
We're ALL SCRewwdd!!! LOL!
Going to read a while, near the end of Stephen King's " Duma Key ", . Nail Biting, tension.
Until Then.

$1.99 dropped to $1.97 this morning by my house, but it seems all the others are at $2.05 - $2.07. Not sure what's up with Caseys going down & the others not.
I went by the station closest to my house this morning and was shocked at the price of 2.89! I then went past another down the road and it was $2.49. Even though I didn't need much I filled up my car. I then went home and got my van that was in need of gas and filled that up too. Figured if it was only 2.49 at one and the other just went up to 2.89 I better grab while it was lower.

Whatever happened to the big story not long ago that the gas prices were going to be kept down so for once they did not go up high for the summer? I'm tired of not going places in the summer when the kids are out of school just because it costs to much to drive.
At least this year I plan on putting the van aside and drive my smaller car more. That will help I'm sure. It's just not comfortable to go on a trip with though.

...Them's got ears, let them hear
Them's got eyes, let them see
Turn your eyes to the lord of the skies
Take this airline plane
It'll take you home again
Looks like gas prices are going up again.
A month ago, $2.19
Less than two weeks ago, $2.29
Today some stations are $2.29 and others are $2.39
With all these car dealerships closing the doors to selling new vehicles just think how hard it's going to be to sell these big trucks with gas prices going up.
