last night i had a qtr tank & filled the jeep for $22 not bad

Not bad at all...this is a nice comfortable price.

It has brought me last minute bookings for those who have decided to travel this Holiday week.

1.73 here in WV/Ohio. Will make traveling back to Charleston a lot more do-able than what it was a few months ago.

I remember 100 yrs ago when I worked at Chi Chi's (my after school job) and when I was done I"d take my tip $$ and go across the street to North Ridge and get gas .97 cents a gal.

I can recall 31 cents a gallon gas.. when gas hit $1.00 my mom swore we were done driving! Of course, we bucked up and paid up, just like everyone else.

BTW- looks like it's back up to $1.56 for them today...

Down to $1.68 now. Anyone want to guess how low it will go before it starts to climb again. I'm sure it will get high again by next Spring when people are thinking they can go on a vacation.

It's strange but I went by a gas station that normally is right with the lowest prices around and today it was up at $1.75. Hope that doesn't mean that gas prices are starting to go back up?

station by my house was at $1.75 last week & hasn't gone up or down since then

Gas went up to $1.79 around my house ... used to be $1.72 and $1.75.

Gas went down today in Sullivan....it had been sitting steady at $1.82 and today it's now $1.79

Tuesday gas was at $1.84. The next day (Today) in Ashland it's now up to $1.99

I think gas prices have slowly been creeping up this week.. let's hope it's not the beginning of the End.

Filled up today at 1.89. Just heard that gas prices were on the up again and we should be seeing closer to the 2.00 mark soon.

Not sure if it will go any higher or stay around 2.00 for awhile. Hope it doesn't go way up again when summer comes.

Using www.gasbuddy.com, I can see gas prices are definitely on the upswing.. I'm with you tho.. I hope prices stay at $2 or below. Friend of mine predicted $5 gas this summer.. I think he's nuts.

It's going up folks.

Yesterday it jumped to 1.89, today I just saw 1.95.

That's getting real close to 2.00 a gallon, after that I'm afraid it will just keep going up and up.

It's been sooo nice to fill my tank and actually not break the bank doing it. But I'm afraid those days are numbered again. It always goes up by Spring so we all have to stay home...

Just think of how it feels to an autoworker.
anyone connected to anything involving fuel cost.
That includes all rereation connected industries.
I have 8 camping reservations but will cancel them if the price goes back up to over $4.00/gallon this summer.

Now if my local communities would think a little an make a safe biking path around town and suburban areas we could peddle to work.
Maybe if we are lucky Presdient elect Obama will add this to his list of infastructure projects.
When I get laid-off I could rake out the gravel.
or should I say stones?

You make me feel really old!!!!
When I was a younin' over 100 years ago, gas was so plentyful and so were gas sations(one on every corner), competition was so stiff that they had gas wars. During those times I can recall gas going down to (this is the truth) $0.159/gallon and you got a roll of tp or a drinking glass for free with a fill-up. 20 gallons for $3.20 not one but TWENTY!!!!!

Last Wed at a clark station in Zion IL i filled up because gas was $1.58/gallon (and cigs were 3 packs for $10 i was excited lol).

yesterday i filled up by my house & gas has gone up to $1.89/gallon here (cigs are $5.90+tax UGH!)... However my bestfriend who lives in IL as well says her gas went up yesterday from $1.99 to $2.09 OUCH!

Assuming you meant Sheridan Rd, that would be the one!

I was headed to Dollar General on Sheridan & since it's right there i just happen to see the sign & stopped in... $1.58, it never got that low here!

LOL Yes. I guess I typed it to fast.

It's funny how sometimes their gas prices across the border like that is higher, then other times I find it lower. Not sure why that is.

I don't go down to Zion as often as I use to but I still have friends and family there. If you are on Sheridan Road gong through town you go right past goflo.com's office. A friend of mine is the owner of that and he has coupons for area things to do, food places etc. on his site. Check it out next time you know you are going to Zion and you may find a coupon to have lunch somewhere with your friend.
