Re: Gas Prices “Just How High Are We Going?”
I saw that oil fell this past week but I still believe people need to be planning for the future as this is just a momentary delay. One big hurricane or war with Iran and we are at $5.00 the next morning. Further the expected rise in demand worldwide can't be matched by more drilling so well pinch your pennies now but now is the time to start considering smarter individual solutions to the gas price issue.

Re: Gas Prices “Just How High Are We Going?”
Was in Dousman yesterday and the BP there was $4.43 a gal
I'm thinking to myself there is no way I'm paying that as I'm looking at the light up fuel tank on the dash cuz I need gas now.....
I drove over to Oconomowoc and the Kwik Trip there (6 miles down the road) was $3.99...........they were crazy there with people too. Seems everyone from around the area was getting gas there.

Re: Gas Prices “Just How High Are We Going?”
You would think that with the price of a barrel of oil around $92 today we would be seeing gas prices around $3.35.
What is in a barrel of oil??

Re: Gas Prices “Just How High Are We Going?”
Wow to have $3.35 again..and then I got to thinking..hey, remember when it wasn't that long ago that it was $3.35 and we thought it was high?
Today I noticed the $4.19 from the last few days has gone down again to $3.99 around our city so that was good at least.

Isn't it amazing that the price soars instantly, but to bring it back down, it never seems to happen that fast.

Re: Gas Prices “Just How High Are We Going?”
Didn't look thru the whole thread but does anyone use GasBuddy.com - Find Low Gas Prices in the USA and Canada ? You can use it to check gas prices anywhere in the nation and it's user updated.
The really sad part about the high gas prices is there's no real shortage. Most gas hikes are the result of gouging and you'll hear excuses about "Hurrican Ike" or similar to justify it. Lies, all lies, I tell you!

Re: Gas Prices “Just How High Are We Going?”
Nope. Dont use gas buddy cuz I have 1 gas station to choose from out here, unless I'm out driving to Palmyra...then my options go up to 2.
If I'm heading to Jefferson my options go to 2...since the 3rd gas station in Jefferson was destroyed by the June floods.
If I'm heading into Helenville, then I sill have only 1 choice....

Re: Gas Prices “Just How High Are We Going?”
I been using gasbuddy for quite some time, but it's only useful to me when i travel away from home, since my local stations tend to get updated once a week or so for the most part.
We went up to $4.15 last weekend & now at $4.11, according to my girl who works at the station by my house we should be at $3.99 by this weekend... how sad, considering the barrel price is at its lowest in a very long time!

I think we have a better chance of Wisconsin allowing gay marriage & we already know that's not happening.
We went down to $3.99 last night

Re: Gas Prices “Just How High Are We Going?”
I passed a station with 3.89 yesterday. Hopefully they will all come down to that price soon. I will need gas soon...wonder if that station is still at 3.89?.. always see better prices when I either don't have the time to stop, or I don't need any.
