The Mindoro Cut, Southwest Wisconsin

The Mindoro Cut is a cool place.

I've been there and was recently reminded of it by our Member, MsMich1 who has the link above on her Member page.

It's a fun, scenic ride if you're in that area. A good way to 'take the scenic route' if you're heading to La Crosse.

Is that what that is? I ran into that when I was aimlessly driving around looking for things to photograph. (That was before kids :wink: ) and thought it was kind of cool. It was interesting reading the history behind it. Thanks for the link.

Interesting, I always like the LaCrosse area. Those cuts through the rock remind me of what you see on the way to Dodgeville and Prairie Du Chien.
