Customizing Windows For Free

Tired of the same old Windows? I have Windows XP and wanted to add a more modern look to Windows without upgrading to Vista. There are many alternatives out there but I ran across free Bricopacks from CrystalXP.net and love the way it changes the way Windows looks! Installation is simple but the site warns to be sure your version of Windows is compatible before installation! Check it out!

I run windows XP professional.

A few clients of mine were having horrible problems with Vista locking up on them. To the point of not even being able to use the computer. Both took their computers to different area places to have it fixed and they were told it could not be fixed...I found that odd so I asked Smart Kid.

It was tricky, but he managed to wipe out Vista and install XP for them or whatever operating system they wanted....other then Vista

I use XP myself, not Vista but used the Bricopacks to change the appearance of XP to simulate Vista. I don't migrate to new OS's easily. It took a long time before I moved from ME to XP!

I would need more details about those computers not being fixed in order to say if those computer shops know what they are doing or not.

To install an operating system is easy. Just wipe the hard drive then reinstall the operating system.

I do hear that Vista is still kinda buggy.
