Photoshop Elements 6.0

Over the weekend I downloaded a trial version of Adobe's Photoshop Elements. Full version purchase price is $99.99 which is more than I ever spent on software but I must tell you the difference between this an my the version I have at 3.0 or even full blown photosshop 7.0 is amazing and I just statrted to explore it.
The healing patch tool is amazingly simpler than ever. Now you are not require to find a sample spot it rerads the area surounding the flaw and fills in perfectly. Give it a 30 day try and you will like as well as I have.

Now if I could only find a crack for this app..............I'd be in photo heaven

Well I downloaded it last night. Actually it was taking sooo long that I just went to sleep for awhile and checked it again early this morning. lol

Just now checking it all out and it looks like it will take me forever to figure out all the little things to do. Not sure if a free 30 day trial is going to be long enough for me to understand everything

I was eager to figure out how to make fun pictures where you can put one into another or crop several together etc...but I think I have a long ways to go before I get there.

Anyways, thanks for the information as to how to get this free...new toy to play with. yeah!

PK... Photoshop and Photoshop Elements are very intense applications but like MS Word can also be used by the novice.
I suggest you google "Photoshop elements tutorial"
You will be surprise how many people love to share their knowledge online.

learn about
layers
magic wand
healing tool
and cloning tool
to begin with
also elements has a few automated helpers such as color correction etc.
always save a back-up copy of your photo before you experiment just as a precaution

I love my Photoshop Elements 3. The healing tool is awesome. I don't know what you mean about finding a sample... I just select the offending area and *poof* it's gone.

I've been thinking about upgrading to PE6 / PREl4 but am on the fence. I might wait it out another year.
