Re: Forest County
I visit this county often. My mom grew up here and my Grandma still lives here. My grandma always talk about the past and present from this area, and I find the history very interesting. I travel to this county also when I am rafting or on camping trips. The fall I think brings better colors than Door County but this is my opinion. There are many firelanes for offraod use which connect Forest County to Langlade and Oconto Counties which I explore all year. One year in the winter I thought I should not have taken that trail of deep snow but I drove thru fine.. I can remember fishing trips with my Grandpa. I do some camping here and antique hunting sometimes in the summer. Sometime I just travel here for the drive. If you never been here its worth the drive and you may find the peace and tranquillity I find here.
