Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field Ranked #1 Venue in the NFL
Sports Illustrated Magazine, and SI.com, recently polled fans from around the country on stadium satisfaction.
Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field ranked first. Fans were polled on the game day experience, including tailgating, stadium atmosphere, ticket prices, team performance, and surrounding neighborhoods.
The poll gathered over 17,000 responses from around the country, with the league's longest-tenured stadium taking top honors.
Some fans described their attendance at a Packer Game at Lambeau Field as a religious experience. Their is the popular opinion that games at the "Frozen Tundra" is the epitome, or the standard, of what football is all about.
The Sports Illustrated article went on to say that Lambeau Field is where tough guys go to grapple, and the heart of football is still on the "Frozen Tundra".
"While fans warm themselves on cold bleachers with hot chocolate and full-throated cheering. And that is still the essence of Lambeau."
