Arrow Jogger lady on Jay Road, Boltonville Wisconsin

There's a 'legend' if you will in Boltonville, Wisconsin about Jay Road. You can find it by going down highway 57, then by heading west on this creepsville of a road (if you're hungry for a ghost, that is). There's this part of the road that goes through a swampy area. There are tall trees on either side of the road, so that the road's always dark in this area. And it always feels quiet, cold, and dark even on the sunniest day. Legend has it that a woman was jogging here at some early part in the morning and was struck by a driver. Apparently, her body was knocked into the swamp and she wasn't found. If you drive down this length of road, you will see the apparition of a woman in front of your car, then as she turns to face you, it will appear as though you 'hit her'. Sometimes her head will appear in your car and she'll look at you before disappearing.

That is really really creepy... I'll know to stay off that road unless I am in the mood to the scared crapless.

When you use the term, "Down 57", do you mean south?
This is a great story, Amber.
I know of some mushrooms that will induce these sorts of "visions". They are best kept freeze dried. Prepared as a tea.

Re: Jogger lady on Jay Road, Boltonville Wisconsin

AHAHAHAHA ur sooo funny, I have to tell you all that this is a is infact not real, great ghost story but not a real one. the story is true yes other then the fact they found her body but not the ghost part of it. I live a mile from Jay rd. and i travle it all the time day and night for 12 years now and I have never seen the woman, nither has one of my friends who lives on the road or anyone else who iv ever talked to that has travled down this road. This story is as much bs as the one about the "bleeding stopsign". It was shot with a paint ball gun and the paint balls there were used were luminescent so once they dried and were washed away the luminescent part of the paint stained in so when your head lights hit it, it looks like its bleed. The stopsign is no longer there cuz a plow truck hit it this past winter(09) so i was replaced.

And yes i do belive in ghosts i go on ghost hunts with my grandma and aunt all the time
