How do you fish?

Just thought i would post this in case those that are shore fishermen might meet someone from their area that fish from boats in hopes of having a new fishing partner to join them. I fish from a canoe %99 of the time and always willing to take others out. If i am pressed for time i will take a quick ride to a pier otherwise.

Good question. Have a 13-person capacity pontoon, though nothing to tow it with at the moment. Also a little 15 foot alumacraft with an old 22 hp merc outboard on back. Canoeing mostly, but I'll fish from shore if the opporunity arises. Half the times I've been out in the last ten years have been with a guide or a friend who fishes a spot a LOT and that's always the best way to go. They know what to use, the spots, when to go, etc.

I love to fish from the dock in the summer.
I own a 4 man raft and will use it to fish small lakes and rivers.
I enjoy to ice fish the most, and spend 90% of my fishing on hard water.
I only fish for fun and am no expert fisherman, I love getting tips from others to enhance my fishing fun.

I have a 17 foot fishing pontoon that I'm lucky enough to have parked on the river bank during fishing season. I live by the Wisconsin River in Portage County. I have a couple spots that I nail smallies on with little trouble. I use crayfish colored tubers and usually have a nightcrawler soaking at the same time on another pole. I really like the smallies for the battle they give. I'll go for Walleyes on Lake DuBay also. Haven't had much luck with the larger ones in recent years, but they're still fun too.

I have always fished from shore as an adult.. when I was young, my family owned a 23 foot fishing boat but I haven't fished off a boat since then!

I use a Wilderness System Tarpon 120 Angler kayak and whoever is with me uses my WS Ride 135. I mostly fish for bass and pike. Also I am looking for a fishing buddy to join me.

I love colder weather but the thought of ice fishing just doesn't appeal to me.. maybe it's because I've fallen through the ice as a kid?
