Eau Claire County Circuit Judge Paul Lenz said spending 10 Christmas Eves and Christmas Days behind bars will make Jacobson remember the victims he took from their families.

Sounds like he got off easy and hopefully he will learn from this.
For other crimes, I've always thought that judges should get more creative with sentencing.
For theft, shoplifting.. the person should have to stand outside of the store with a bright orange jail outfit holding a sign saying he/she shoplifted from the store.
For people that bail out of paying child support should be forced to work in a children's hospital cleaning.
For teens that refuse to go to school, they should have to spend time in a preschool.
Deface a building with graffiti, paint the wall with a small paint brush and stand for a weekend allowing people to walk past and mark on the person with ink markers.
Driving while intoxicated, they should lose the right to drive and spend a few weekends having to ride an adult tricycle around the town area with a sign on it as to why.
