County Lighthouses-> Door County
Bailey's Harbor Lighthouse
Built 1851-52. Located on North Point Island at the entrance to Bailey's Harbor from Lake Michigan. Privately owned. Not accessible and not open for tours.

Bailey's Harbor Range Lights
Built in 1870, automated in 1969. Self-guided tours at the Ridges Sanctuary. Accessible year-round.

Cana Island Lighthouse
Built in 1869. 89 feet tall. Operational. Grounds open 10 am to 5 pm daily. Keeper's house open May through October. No picnics. Limited parking. Admission fee. Halway between North Bay and Moonlight Bay on E side of Door County peninsula.

Chambers Island Lighthouse
Built in 1868. 40-acre day park since 1976. Open to the public when caretaker is present (most weekends and some weekdays from June 15 through Labor Day).

Eagle Bluff Lighthouse
Built in 1868. Keeper's dwelling is completely restored. Guided tours daily from Memorial Day through the third weekend of October, 10 am to 4:30 pm. Admission fee. Located in Peninsula State Park between Ephraim and Fish Creek. Park entry pass required.

Pilot Island Lighthouse
Built in 1851. Cloed to the public, no tours. Located at the northern tip of the Door County peninsula. Shoreline Charters operates a boat tour out of Gills Rock that goes past the lighthouse for viewing and photography.

Plum Island Lighthouse
Built in 1897, automated in 1969. Active US Coast Guard installation spring through autumn. No tours, however, Shoreline Charters operates a boat tour out of Gills Rock that goes past Plum Island for viewing and photography, from mid-May through mid-October.

Rock Island Lighthouse
Built in 1858. 41 feet tall. The public may walk up to it but can't enter. Located on Rock Island at the very top of the Door County peninsula.

Built in 1883. The last lighthouse to be automated, in 1983. Not open for tours.
