Golden Retriever Rescue of
WI is proud to remind you that the--
7th Annual Tails on Trails Dog Walk,
Saturday, October 18 from 10-3
Lapham Peak State Park (just off I-94 and Hwy C in Delafield)
All breeds Welcome!
Registration will start at 10 am and we will hit the trails at 11 am
as one big group. There is a two mile route that is very easy walking
and also a shorter loop for dogs who are a little older or in various
stages of recovery. The longer route takes about 45 minutes to walk.
New this year we will have some baked goods and water for sale before
the walk, as well as demos and vendors set up and ready to go. So,
when you are done with registering you will have some things to do
before we hit the trails! There will be brats, hot dogs, and chicken
sandwiches as well as soda and water for sale after the walk and more
demos going on then too! Once again prizes will be awarded to the
people who collect the highest amount of pledges (including Packer
tickets!)
You can register for the walk on our website at
Golden Retriever Rescue of WI > Home On the
main page of the site there is a link to the registration area. Once
you get to the calendar, scroll down to the walk info below where you
can click to take you to the registration page. Please note this year
you have the choice of where your registration and pledge money goes –
either to the Special Needs Fund for dogs requiring care above and
beyond the normal, or the General Fund which covers updating shots,
heartworm tests, spays/neuters etc. Please check the appropriate box
on the website registration or the brochure to show where you would
like your money to go.
