"I'll Always Love You" by Hans Wilhelm
A wonderful young child's book having to do with loss of a dog. A beautiful, simple blend of happiness, aging, loss, and consolation; the illustrations speak volumes.
Even though Hubby and I are "seniors" and have no children, we learned a new perspective/outlook/appreciation of our own everyday life's situation and I do believe even a new appreciation for each other.
I had learned of this book from a Labrador Retriever forum and got it through inter library loan. After reading it a few times (takes all of about 3 minutes) I just had to have a copy of my own so I ordered it from Amazon.
