Horicon Marsh International Education Center The primary purpose of the Center is to enlighten visitors about the importance of wetland and wildlife conservation and management. Naturalist program subjects include the following:

* Pre-Glacial and Glacial Geology of the Area
* Indian History
* Settlement History and Human Impacts to the Marsh
* Wetlands, Wildlife and Wildlife Management Programs

During my elementary school days, I can remember taking a few field trips to Horicon Marsh. A great place for kids (of any age) to learn about ecology and see what is going on in nature around them. I hope Horicon Marsh has a long future of bringing the beauty and importance of theoutdoors into the minds of all Wisconsinites.
