Cooked Fudge Cookies

Description
Easy to make drop cookies - No bake recipe
Ingredients
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 tbl. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 c. quick Quaker Oats
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 tbl. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
No prior preparation is required.
Instructions
  1. Mix sugar, milk, cocoa and margarine in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract, peanut butter, chocolate chips and stir until melted then add oatmeal. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper or handi-wrap. Can also be spread into a pan to make bars. Makes approx. 32 cookies.
