Easy Butter Pecan Turtle Bars
Preheat oven to 350. Mix at medium speed the CRUST ingredients 2-3 mins. Then pat crust firmly into an ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle peacns evenly over the unbaked crust.
Prepare caramel. Caramel Layer:
In a heavy pan, combine brown sugar and butter. cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling. Boil 1/2 to 1 min. keep stirring then pour over pecans and crust. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 mins. It should be bubbly and golden brown. Take out of oven and Sprinkle choc. chips on top and let them melt for about 2 mins. swirl chips as they melt. leave some whole for marbled effect. cool and cut to squares.

I buy the Pecans early and when they are on SALE!!
By Thanksgiving and Christmas They are hard to find!!!
