Banana Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting

Description
This was a standard banana bread recipe until I goofed last week and added powdered sugar instead of flour! I went with it and made a sweet, different cake. Works just as well without the frosting for breakfast!
Ingredients
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans, peanuts, whatever you have)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Frosting:
  • 3/4 cup CREAMY peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease 8in x 8in pan
Instructions
  1. 1. After mashing bananas, combine sugar, nuts, eggs, powdered sugar, flour, honey , peanut butter, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  2. 2. Pour into pan. Bake 40-50 minutes, turning pan half way through.
  3. 3. Allow to cool.
  4. 4. To make frosting, combine peanut butter and whipped topping. Spread across cake top when cool.

Decorate each piece with a mini peanut cup either whole upside down or cut it into thhirds and place around top.
