Honesty is best when you want to show case your own site...just my thoughts but when you wrote, I just found this new site, I wondered if it was yours and didn't want to look at it because I figured if it was something to be proud of you didn't need to trick people into looking at it. Sorry, just trying to save you from lost visitors. people hate feeling as if they were tricked, or misled.
