Yeah that's a lot easier to read. Maybe change the brown background image ( brown008.jpg ) to your background water image you had before? It kinda looks like a western website right now.
I agree with Ken about the background. It doesn't fit with what your services are. A good way to get ideas is to look at what the competition is doing and look at similar sites. In your case, anything fish or aquarium related.
On this site I will suggest that the forum buttons at the top of the page also be at the bottom. This way we can navigate after reading the thread in stead of scrolling back up to the top to do so.
It's better, but I don't know if I like the repeating photo thing in the background. If you're going to use it, you should take the date stamp off the photo. Can a larger image be used in the background to keep it from repeating like that?
What about making the area with your business name go across the top so it can be bigger? I still think you need a logo. Even try using a different font for your name and a different color. It needs to stand out more. Then you could make the paper background wider below the whole thing.
I wish you could post something like this on a graphic design forum for a critique. The design forum I belong to, people will do that. Everyone on there is very helpful and they won't bash your design if you are open to suggestions. That isn't always the case on these design forums. It would be helpful to have another designer's suggestions.
You might also post this to our www.webloggers.org . It's not technically a blog but you might get some design tips over there as well.
In fact, converting your website to a blog format may be exactly what you need. A blog can be easily updated (every day if you like) thru the blog control panel and themes can be changed with one click. Blogs also tend to be indexed faster by the search engines.
