This Saturday my husband and I are participating in the
2008 LakeWalk for Cancer to benefit The Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Foundation. Donations raised help fund clinical research programs, the latest technologies and supportive services to help patients and their families through the challenges related to a cancer diagnosis.
Our personal reason for walking is that too many of our family and friends have dealt with cancer. We wanted to walk in support of the survivors, the fighters and those that we have lost. We are on Team Kwiatkowski, formed to acknowledge Jaime Kwiatkowski who battled cancer during her pregnancy and is still fighting (baby Elizabeth was born healthy in January).
If you'd like to make a donation to our team, you can do so at
lakewalk.kristenday.com.
