Serious talent...
Oh, Renee, come out Wisconsin way, maybe we can roll in the hay...
Is that an original? Good strummin' and pickin', and the voice grows on you.
The 12/12 Dylan cover has some seriously fine pickin', too.
I like the way the blog is set up - new to me and I run www.WebLoggers.org! You're welcome to submit to the Showcase ~ and I'll be right behind extolling.
Problem: the top track, Feb 6th (most recent chrono entry) is hosed. At first I thought this was just sound effects or something.
You've got something here, please: Keep on keepin' on!
Regards,
Keith

I will pass on those compliments to stoney, the next time I see him.
I have a limited number of his recordings.
Yes Oh,Renee is an original.
and the latest posting has mega effects attached( heavy duty FLANGE) and takes a couple plays before you re-arange your thinking on music, try cranking it but also try listening to the origianl a few times to get acclimated with the song.
I know the white noise is a bit overpowering just try to get past that and you will hear it all.
I will check out your blogging site sometime this week.
so I should keep on keepin on huh? I would but always end up
tangled up in blue

almost sounds like Bob Dylan...with a touch of Woody, or Arlo Guthrie.

Rockabillly sounds...
I can deal with some old 45 pop and hiss. Sounds real. Just tough to have some sound like the mike is closer to the crowd than the performer. Enhoyable nonetheless.
Some of the pickin' reminds me of Wanda Jackson and The Maddox Brothers and Sister Rose. A good folksy rockabilly taste in hard travlin'.
Thanks for the updates.
Wish Stoney would come out to play, friend.
Regards,
Keith

Listening to to the recent stoney release, I get visions of the smoke filled bar room sort of place, with cocktail waitresses and bar patrons that look around wondering where they are.....
