Tracks in the Snow
Monday, January 18, 2010.
9 am - 4 pm.
Follow animal trails and read their tracks to find out if they were chasing or being chased, looking for food, or just a good place to nap!
Then, snowshoe on the trails through the prairie, forest and savanna in search of animal tracks to identify.
If no snow is present, we will hike to observe animal signs on foot.
This program is presented in partnership with REI; all snowshoes will be provided.
Appropriate for children ages 5 -12.
Please bring a sack lunch; beverages will be provided.
