Celebrate Mother's Day with Eliza's Toyes in an afternoon of early music! We will follow the life of Galileo Galilei in his discovery, his scientific believes, and his struggles with the Inquisition.
The program explores music from Florence, Pisa, Venice and Rome, including works by Bati, Belli, Brunelli, Gagliano, Gregori, Marsolo, Monteverdi, and Palestrina.
The concert will feature Eliza's Toyes, which includes Arielle Basile (soprano), Sandy Erickson (alto), Ryan Veillet (tenor), Jerry Hui (alto/bass), and Ryan Thorn (bass), in collaboration with Doug Towne (lute).
