Had a cottage cheese and tomato omelette for breakfast.. at first, I was a bit skeptical about putting the tomatoes in there but it was actually pretty good.

I think I would be skeptical of putting the cottage cheese in before being worried about the tomato.
French toast with fluffy scrambled eggs and Packer Perk Coffee :PPP

Large glass of OJ and a couple mini frozen sausage biscuits I found stuck in the freezer. One minute in the Micro. Can't get any faster that that. I was running terribly late so didn't have time to care what I had.
Home made french toast would have been wonderful. I will have to make that soon.
What I can't understand is people who will eat things like spaghetti for breakfast.. no thanks! I need breakfast food..
I've never been 'stuck' in the mind set that certain food has to be for certain meals. If I want eggs for dinner than that is what I eat. If I want cold pizza for breakfast than that is what I will eat. If I decide I want to wait and have brunch and have 2 meals at one time, then that is what I eat. If I have some great left over chicken and I'm hungry in the morning I have no problem grabbing the chicken with a glass of orange juice.
The only thing I have a problem with is eating cold cereal at anytime. Or oatmeal, grits etc. I have no desire to eat something like that late in the day.
Being the cheap person that I am, I have enjoyed McDonalds Sausage McMuffin off the dollar menu for breakfast when I do not have time at home to make something. But I recently found that Aldi's has a four pack of frozen biscut egg, cheeses and sausage breakfast sanwiches for the low price of 2.99. That make them $0.75 each!! Now If I am in a hurry I take one to work and zap it in the micro so I do not even have to stop at McDonalds and lose time.
I find that if if I have eggs or egg beaters for breakfast I am more alert in the moring.
I love egg beaters cheese and chives with toasted gritty high fibre backery bread

You can eat whatever foods at any time of day. I've eaten plenty of pizza, pasta and warm sandwiches for breakfast because you can only eat so much toast or cereal until it gets boring. Leftovers for breakfast warm the tummy and taste good.
I'm not sure who made that rule that certain foods can only be eaten at certain times of day, but that's no fun.
Even my mom sometimes served us leftovers or non-breakfast items for breakfast. My mom is cool, what can I say.

That stuff doesn't interest me for lunch or dinner, but cold cereal is just for something quick in the morning. It's not even that exciting compared to other foods. I'm not even sure why anyone would order that in a restaurant with all the other choices, but places have it.
I'm not saying it's a rule.. just saying I don't do it, couldn't see myself eating certain things for breakfast. I do eat breakfast foods for dinner tho..

And you mentioned leftovers.. was just saying last night that I rarely eat leftovers and usually give them away, rather than throw them away. Just don't like eating the same thing too many times in a row..

I have an online friend from another country that tells me that they don't eat anything sweet for breakfast where she lives. But when she's been to the US it's pancakes, waffles, donuts, coffee cake and sweet cereals which she finds odd. We love our sugar in the US.
Picked up some texas Bread and made homemade french toast, bacon, sausage balls, Apple strudel muffins, orange juice/milk, fruit.
I picked up the sausage balls at Woodmans as they were new and had to try them. They were mildly weird. lol It was sausage rolled into small balls with a bisquick? coating on them. Baked them until brown. Couldn't make up my mind if I liked them or not. Guess they were good if you didn't want real sausage.
My son didn't like them and my daughter said...they are so bad they are addicting. I guess you keep eating them trying to figure out if you like them or not.
