Well since I don't like the taste or the looks of it, if I ate it, I would barf and then it would be white I guess.

Re: What's For Breakfast?

Went out with my husband for breakfast. We stopped at the Original Pancake House in Brookfield and was it ever good. We both got a puff pancake. Mine was just sprinkled with powdered sugar and lemon. My husband had one with apples and cinnamon. His was so big he brought over half of it home. He also ordered some breakfast potatoes on the side with cheese. Really, really, really good breakfast, but since our food came out at noon, it was lunch too.

Re: What's For Breakfast?

Yogurt, a sliced banana, toast, and a cup of OJ. A little of anything I could find.

Re: What's For Breakfast?

We had biscuits and gravy Hardee's. They are a bit expensive but I rarely spend the money that way. It was good but oh and I noticed that all the prices went up at Hardee from the last time I stopped there about a year ago.
The 6 dollar thick burger is now around $7.69!!!
No, this was not the price of a value meal, it's just was the cost of the sandwich.
I think it's time for a name change Hardee's
How can anyone post that and not think this is just plain NUTZ?

Re: What's For Breakfast?

I actually like Hardee's biscuits and gravy, not bad for a fast food place. But I agree their prices seem to be higher every time I stop there which is maybe only 2 times a year at most. We actually do not have a Hardee's here in Kenosha which is strange as we seem to have almost everything else.

Re: What's For Breakfast?

Today I ate some frozen thing that pops in the toaster and suppose to have a taste of egg, cheese, and bacon or maybe it was sausage? with a crispy crust, with a large glass of OJ.

I'm in a hurry so it's one of those days that we 'pretend' we are eating something good just because it's fast.

Whenever I pass through Madison I usually get a Monster thickburger from Hardees, along with a large OJ... total is always just over $10. If anyone is with me I tell them they have to buy for themselves.

Love their biscuits & gravy and their breakfast frisco sandwich. I miss Hardees!!

Breakfast today was a steak, egg & chs biscuit and OJ from Micky D's.

I noticed they have gotten quite expensive too! The last time we ate at a Hardees in Prairie du Chien it cost almost $30 for the three of us! It's cheaper to go to a sit down restaurant and have better food for that price!

I do have to admit though that every time I visit my mom in Fennimore, I have to bring home a Big Roast Beef sandwich form the Hardees there. I just can't resist those!

Re: What's For Breakfast?

This morning I had some Old Wisconsin Turkey sausage bites. It's a good source of protein on mornings when I'm not very hungry.

Re: What's For Breakfast?

I haven't been to a Hardee's in about 20 years. Almost as long for McD's. I never think to go to Hardee's even though I drive by it fairly often. McD's is just plain nasty.

We found some yummy breakfasts on our vacation last week. Chocolate eclair pancakes (so delicious), cream cheese stuffed french toast with strawberries (this one was ok), peanut butter and chocolate topped pancakes (so good it should be illegal), cinnamon roll french toast with cream cheese frosting (tasty), bacon waffles, and biscuit bowl filled with eggs, tomato, bacon, cheese, spinach and hollandaise sauce (interesting). There were many kinds of pancakes on the menus besides those I listed. I guess Tennessee likes their pancake houses.

One thing I've noticed is that breakfasts are costing as much as a lunch or some dinners at a restaurants. There must be quite a markup on pancakes and eggs, because those are cheap to make compared to your meals with meat.

Re: What's For Breakfast?

Grabbed a banana and a cup of orange juice and ate it on the run this morning.
