My oldest daughter and I was just talking about the days when she was young and my family was huge on clipping coupons. We would gather at my Mom's on Saturday nights exchanging the coupons we collected over the week. I had friends from all over sending me coupons. Many stores had double or more off back then.
I just noticed one of my favorite stores I shop at for food is now going to start offering double off on Thursdays, so think I will get started collecting again. The good thing now is the internet and finding coupons on line. That's a big plus.
I just noticed on my Aldi's flyer that they will not only replace the item if dissatisfied but also refund your money in full.. now that's a guarantee!
You don't see coupons being offered as much in the newspaper for groceries as you used to.. at least not in my area.
ooohh -- just an FYI: never copy a coupon, it's illegal like making a photo copy of money.
Each has it's own unique code (on the upper right hand side) if it is an Internet Printable and the stores will NOT get reimbursed for multiples of the same one - not to mention that the manufacturer's and feds can track where it was printed.

walmart will match --piggly wiggly ads, copps or pick n save, festival foods, aldi's, walgreens and dollar general ....all you have to do is just write the items down on a slip of paper an take them to walmart...make sure you write down what brand and how many oz's what the coupon offers ...
example:
festival foods
milk $1.98 = (festival foods brand) you would get walmart brand

I usually look at match pricing as no advantage for myself ,only the store offering the match.
I usually go to the store that sells the product at the lowest price. The others need to pay for their own market research, just like everyone else and not get for free from me. My time is worth as much as anyone else.

....Now, a very great man once said
That some people rob you with a fountain pen
It didn’t take too long to find out
Just what he was talkin’ about
A lot of people don’t have much food on their table
But they got a lot of forks ’n’ knives
And they gotta cut somethin’....
