I get a McDonald's Large Sweet Tea almost every morning after I drop the kids off at school. I sit in the long line at the drive through where most everyone is getting their coffee and I ask for tea.
Actually the southern style sweet tea at our gas station for a big glass for .69 is a better deal and it taste even better but it requires me to get out and walk in. Give me a drive through that early in the morning. lol
You get real tired of the smell of coffee quick when you've worked next to a coffee plant like I did about 15 yrs back. There were a few days i went home early because of the smell.

It's strange but I truly do like the smell of coffee but can't even eat coffee flavored candy, the taste of coffee is nasty to me.

Oh I'm sure I would get tired quickly. But for now I do like the smell when I walk down the asile in a grocery store or stop at Starbucks for Green Tea Sweeten. But I'm sure that would all go away if I had to live close to the smell all the time.
Tea, I've tried a bunch of flavors and they are usually kind of blah and require lots of sugar. Don't care at all for iced tea either.
I'll take hot cocoa or cappuccino over that stuff. Mine has to be the gas station or store bought cappuccino, not the Starbucks "real" cappuccino. Right now I'm drinking Omanhene (oh-man-hee-nee) mint hot cocoa. If you want something different, that would be it. It's made in Wisconsin and it it what I call a real chocolate lovers hot cocoa since it looks more like unsweetened cocoa when you scoop it. It's a finer powder and richer chocolate. The process of how they dry the cocoa beans is pretty interesting. Check the website once. Interesting company, too.
I like drinking the International Cafe cappuccino and lattes. The best ones are the ones that crackle as you stir them and form a foam on top. That is just so bizarre, but I like those. It's like pop rocks in your latte.
I'm thinking none of us on the Bubbler like coffee.
I remember years ago forcing myself to drink this coffee mixed with whatever it was. I just wanted the free mug that came with it. I kept putting in more and more sugar and cream just to kill the bitter taste. It wasn't working.
As for tea, I find it kind of blah. That's why it surprises me that so many people love something that has barely any flavor to it. I've tried a number of flavors and it's still blah and watered down tasting. I've tried squeezing the heck out of the tea bag and tried soaking it for 10 minutes...still blah. The worst kind I bought was a lemon green tea. Didn't care for the funky green smell to it or the weird taste.
I don't generally like flavored teas.. lemon isn't too bad but hate teas like raspberry, etc.
Agreed. I love lemon but flavored tea is not for me. It isn't just flavored tea for me.. flavored water is weird unless it's a kool-aid type drink. I also love pepsi, but cant stand the thought of flavors in it, like cherry or lime... ick

The reason I have tried flavored teas is so that I have some flavor. The best ones I tried were the Christmas flavors of sugar cookie and gingerbread.
The reason I like flavors in my colas is because I usually drink diet and it takes away the diet taste. The reason I would drink regular Coke with cherry is because I'd rather have Pepsi and Cherry Coke covers up the Coke taste. Chocolate Coke is really yummy. Not too many places that offer that, but it's so good.
I also like lemon, lime or orange squeezed in my beer, depending on the type of beer.
I love my sweet tea and if it's offered, will rarely drink anything else.. I almost always get it when I'm out to a buffet or restaurant.

Actually to save money from stopping at McDonalds I buy a gallon of Swiss Sweet Tea Country Style @ Walmart. It's just a bit over 2 dollars and fills my McDonalds cup many times. It's close to the real thing too.
