All this talk about food made me hungry so I just had a Vlasak Zesty Dill pickle spear. I keep them on hand for when I crave something salty and spicy.
Otherwise, half burned on a stick held over a fire
Oh how could I forget to mention a hot dog on a stick being cooked over a fire. There is something special about burnt hot dogs made that way. Thanks for the reminder of some good times.

I try not to eat anything this late at night, maybe drink a cup of orange juice. But all this talk of food made me just get up now and look around and I found a york candy bar in the refrigerator and ate it.
I wonder how a york between 2 pieces of grahmn crackers heated and melted over a camp fire or on a grill would taste? ....
I had some friends in NY that were originally from Maine.. every time they'd go back home to visit they'd bring back some really skinny bright red 'dogs that were delicious.. no idea of the brand as they came back with them in brown paper.
Been thinking of grilled hot dogs for awhile now. Last summer we made all beef grilled hot dogs for lunch quite a few times since my son took an interest in the grill. This year it just seems to hot to stand outside in the sun over a hot grill. yuck.
I would grill them outside if they were good quality 'dogs but we're talking the 50 cents a package variety so I usually just grill them on the George Foreman.

I have a family size George Foreman grill that I have not used in years. I think I will get it out and use it this Winter when we don't grill out anymore.
I actually have a small George Foreman and a family-sized Hamilton Beach.. I don't really like to use them because I hate to clean them

At first glance I thought the spaghetti-hot dogs were gross looking...but then I thought of my 5 year old grand daughter that loves crazy things and wondered how much she would think these are fun looking. lol
