I never heard of this term for eggs. I guess I only know of over easy and sunnyside up for fried eggs. At home we use the generic term fried eggs because we always know that means over easy. Or even more generic, we just say eggs.

As far as jelly, usually no jelly on my toast unless it's a really good home made kind. I make great strawberry jelly. But usually real butter is best.
I'm not big on jam or jelly either. Mostly because it's so full of sugar that you never taste much fruit. I want the fruit flavor to stand out. I think I'd be happy with jelly made with half the sugar. I did find a strawberry rhubarb jam (which I have to buy at Woodman's) that isn't real sugary and you can taste the fruit used. Now that's how jelly/jam should be, all about the fruit flavor without all that sugar covering up the flavor.

Over medium' — cooked on both sides; the yolk is of medium consistency and the egg white is thoroughly cooked.

I love fried eggs but don't like my 'yellow' really runny so I remember to ask if eating breakfast out for 'over medium' and if they know how to cook eggs good my eggs will come back with a runny texture that isn't really thin, but more of a thicker texture. lol Hope that helps.

Re: How do you like your eggs?

One thing I will never put on my eggs is ketchup or hot sauce! I can barely stand to eat at the same table with someone who does..

I have to try that sometime, it sounds great.
I am a basic food man.
two eggs over easy
American fries with onions
two slices of whole wheat toast dry or buttered for dipping into the yoke.
a cup of plain coffee

although the only way I know how to make eggs is pouring some egg beeters into a bowl and cooking them in the microwave {8-)
